Any drone ? I think the actual muffler is CT30CTR? Reason I’m asking is I have catless Doug headers & y pipe with after market cat back dual borla exhaust. They discontinued that exhaust a long time ago. It’s 2uzfe 2006 4Runner.

@@1lifeasis I have zero done even when towing, however I have stock headers and the 4 cats. Might be a different story with catless headers I’m not sure on the muffler, it looks like my install instructions say: Sport muffler - 25TU2003 and 14638 online Truck is covered in road salt or I’d check underneath, it’s filthy at the moment

It may be easier to find one of those from the GM group as some upgrade from the touring muffler (what I have) to the sport muffler (louder) I assume the part number you got is the pro series mufflers Corsa is offering now? www.corsaperformance.com/products/pro-series-muffler-3-0-center-center

@@karatekick66 I think the maintenance records would be crucial when looking at a vehicle you’re describing. If it was maintained, in theory it should make it another 150k. I’d do new fluids if I purchased it, it would give you a good baseline and you can keep up on maintenance going forward I think it’d comedown to price, maintenance, and also having some funds set aside for repairs given the vehicle is 10 years old. If the radiator hasn’t been replaced yet, I’d plan on doing that as the older OEM design cracked over top across the top. The new OEM radiator had this issue resolved Good luck if you decide to pull the trigger, we love our LC and haven’t had any issues so far

@ yeah I always debated between buying a “bulletproof” used LC with 100k+ miles vs a new 5th Gen 4Runner with warranty. The LC is definitely worth it, but logically a brand new rig with warranty makes logical sense. I’d say just plan worst case scenario with any used vehicle and high mileage Chances you won’t have a major repair, but have funds incase. In addition you to my other post, I’d google the cam tower leak and valley coolant leak. Those are two of the most “non-catastrophic” expensive repairs Good luck!

Since your sound is terrible, sounds like you are in a garbage can, I believe I heard you say they were two ply side walls. That is incorrect if you are saying they are rated at xx-lbs at 80 psi. Two ply sidewalls are rated lower than 80 psi, three or more ply sidewalls are noted for 80 psi. Plus they are noted as LT tires with a load range of E....dude those are three ply sidewalls. Maybe due to your sound I may have misunderstood, maybe not. Maybe you have no idea what you are talking about....maybe. Next time use a better sound system.

@@evanike707 hey! Congratulations on the 200 series. I bought the kit below, I was able to do my Land Cruiser, Tundra, and had some leftover. Ended up getting another kit and doing my parents 4Runners. Looks like the cost increased or I got lucky with cheaper case. It was around ~$60 or so amzn.to/49o5HjK The change is fairly easy, get new crush washers and make sure the fill plug comes out first before you drain. @MidMoTundra
@MidMoTundra Ай бұрын
@@ryanhotrod5416 I think if you consider the size, the LC is not horrible in our experience. Here’s a size comparison 200 Land Cruiser: Length: 194.9” Width: 77.9” Height: 74” Toyota rear legroom spec: 34.4” 5th Gen 4Runner: Length: 190.2” Width: 75.8” Height: 71.5” Toyota rear legroom spec: 32.9” 2nd Gen Sequoia: Length: 205.1” Width: 79.9” Height: 77” Toyota rear legroom spec: 40.9”
@MidMoTundra
@MidMoTundra Ай бұрын
@@ryanhotrod5416 The LC is closer to 4Runner size than the Sequoia, with that in mind we are not disappointed with the rear legroom in our 200 series LC. However, our Tundra has 42.3” of rear legroom. My Wife and I are within the 5 foot height spectrum, that affects our experience as well. If the front seats needed to be moved back all the way, the rear legroom would be disappointing. Even with the rear media screens, we have a rear facing full sized car seat and it does not contact the front seat back or the screens. We have the same car seat and there is a ton of room between the car seat and the front seat back. Also I can’t fit my boots under the front seat, so that also affects rear foot room. Sorry this is long winded; but for the size of the LC and the size of our current family, we are not disappointed in the rear spacer of our 200 LC. If you’re used to a full sized SUV (Sequoia, Tahoe, Yukon, Expedition , etc) or a crew cab Truck, the rear legroom will probably be disappointing

@@suppaduppa5 you’ll need an alignment after, I’ve had to loosen the lower cam bolts to swing the LCA down enough to remove the coilover. If you’ve done a 2nd Gen (07-21) Tundra install, the front is basically the same except for the KDSS. All you have to do is open the two shudder valves (3 full turns, not anymore) before install, and reinstall the sway bar end links once the spacer is installed. Once the vehicle is back on the ground, close the shudder valves. I have been using the same alignment specs I’ve provided with my 2nd Gen Tundra. Camber: 0.00* Caster: +3.00* Tow: +0.12*

@MidMoTundra
@MidMoTundra Ай бұрын
@ no problem, the front is the same as the Tundra except for KDSS. If I recall correctly, the torque specs are nearly identical to 07-21 Tundra specs (these specs were easier to find online) for the front end components. Just to note, I tried to use a 1” Tundra top shim spacer that I didn’t use on the Tundra and the middle circle is a different diameter than the LC top hats. If you’re using the OEM spacer/shim it’s not an issue, it’ll will fit perfectly. It also has markings which side faces towards the wheel A second floor jack comes in handy, other than that it’s pretty straight forward. Another note, the OEM cam bolts (alignment) are in the 250+ torque range, have a big breaker bar or I have a Milwaukee 1/2” impact that loosens them easily I had alignment specs done to Camber: 0* Caster: +3.0* Toe: +0.12* on both sides Used the same alignment specs for our tundra as well, I had a hard time finding specs for a stock/ leveled 200 LC online The OEM level gives the 200 the look it should have had from the factory!

@@MidMoTundra perfect, thanks again! Did you happen to torque your cam bolts after the rig was on the ground?
@MidMoTundra
@MidMoTundra Ай бұрын
@ no problem, I used a jack to lift the LCA to barely lift off the jack stand and I torqued them while it was in the air. It’s pretty tight once you have it back on the ground with the tire on to torque the cam bolts. Once you get an alignment, they should torque them again on the with it in the ground. Either method is fine, just don’t torque them at full droop and you’ll be good Good luck!

@MidMoTundra
@MidMoTundra 4 ай бұрын
@@eddiew4063 hey, yeah I did the install the same way I did on my 2016 Tundra. I removed the two LCA to Knuckle bolts, loosened the alignment cam bolts on both LCA’s so the LCA could swing down. Then I loosened the strut and sway bar bolts. After that the LCA can swing down freely and you can remove the 4 strut top hat bolts. Once that’s out you can install the top spacer, or install a different coilover. Then reverse to reassemble. Even with the KDSS valves loosened, I had a time getting the drivers side sway bar reattached. I ended up using a jack and a ratchet strap to get it in place for the bolt to go back in. It’s basically the same process as a 2nd Gen (07-21) Tundra install, except for the KDSS. I have a set of the Eibach pro truck struts and shocks I’m going to be installing on the 200 here sometime.
