Saying either one is the same for fat loss is like saying either one is the same for muscle gain. It just isn’t true.
@stateofmotionau
@stateofmotionau 4 ай бұрын
Muscle gain and fat loss are two different topics. Fat loss is a game of energy balance. Energy in vs energy out. Muscle gain involves energy balance but you also need to focus on quality of training and quality of recovery. Either food isn't better for fat loss because if i was in a calorie deficit only eating chocolate i'd still loose weight. I'd probably feel shit and it'd be a lot harder because I wouldn't be satiated but i'd still lose weight.

I think the caveat to that may be is how much cardio you're doing. I tend to do an hour and a half of high-end steady state, alternating with an hour of HIIT the next day for a total of 5 to 6 days a week. Suffice to say I can generally eat whatever I want, although it's still calories in calories out in the end. Got to know when to put that fork down.

I think passive hanging is dangerous, in that if the muscles are not carrying the weight then tendons, ligaments are, and also cartilage. It must be dynamic as with children "monkeying" around on monkey bars, this ensures that the muscles are carrying the load.

Wether you like it or not, anytime you carry weight, exertion is going to be imparted upon tendons, ligaments, bones and muscle, they all are interconnected in the musculoskeletal system

Absolutely fair point. I am now learning Norwegian on an app, and I felt like I became a prisoner of the day streak count. It became a chore rather than a pleasure I initially felt. So I decided to take a break for a week and now I am getting back to it with a renewed energy and enthusiasm. For myself and not for the streak counter. From 155 days, to 0. And it feels good.
