I have never heard really satisfying strings sounds on Elektron machines - that's why I have my Korg keyboards - Wavestate, Opsix and Modwave. Thanks for this great video. I'll try it. I do love my Digitone.

That filter sounds really lame and bad. It's not wrong to be digital as there are plenty of good digital filters, but this is not one of them for sure.

Many Euro musical instrument retailers are advertising the sale of the new MS-1 MK2 version from Aug 2024 onward. For anyone in the UK a certain 'northern' Behringer dealer have them on pre-order for £218.50, which at the moment is 260 Euro's or about US$280. The MK1 version is still on sale in the UK, a last batch of them is still available, 'down south'. They currently are priced up at £199, so just £20 extra to get the latest version that Behringer says is so much better. The only fly in the ointment is currently the MK2 version is only available in red. This to me gives it a cheapo look to it, making it look like a £30 toy keyboard. The blue and the other black version look more fitting, hopefully those versions will come out soon with the price being roughly the same. I will be tempted to give the MK2 version a go. Though having just wasted my money on a Behringer Cat desktop synth it will need contemplation. Any gear without an arpeggiator &/or a sequencer does need thinking about its usefulness, especially desktop synths without keys. Luckily the MS-1 has both AND via its 5 pin din midi outputs can be linked up to gear that would benefit from an arpeggiator/sequencer and of cause have use of its 32 keys. I'll give these many KZbin MS-1 demo's another good viewing to see what can be created with a MS-1. It could save me buying a Novatation Launchkey 49 that I am keen on. Mainly for its arpeggiator function and its DAW compatibility. As we know the MS-1 does have an arpeggiator and hopefully it would link up to a DAW, if only to play the hundreds of free sounds that can be obtained and loaded on to ones computer. AND maybe with a MS-1 MK2 linked up to the Behringer Cat get better functionality out of it. Currently I see the Cat as a stand alone unit, it does not seem to mix well with other gear. More of an experimental & ambient bit of kit. Though fitted up to a MS1-MK it just might work out. Buying more and more gear, it is all we ever do.

i notice you keep the MOD down. I finally figured out that's the only way to keep the LFO/CLK RATE from modifying the signal which gets annoying when trying to play clean signal.

Hi! I bought a Behringer model D, and when I turned it on only the overload light blinked and it didn't do anything else, they changed it for a new one and it does the same thing, so I tested the power supply of my rd-9 and it works perfectly, What do you think the solution would be?

Have you experienced any detuning issues on this so far?

It's been 8 years since Behringer released the DeepMinds and I strongly believe they are the best synths they have released so far, I doubt if they themselves can surpass them.
