@Artifactfanatic I have been blessed with finding lots of artifacts in my life, been hunting In Georgia for 35+ years started with my paw paw as a kid walking family farm land in s ga, and after all these years finding a nice tool excites me as much or more then finding a point.. they have a great story to tell when you can read the flaking ect and makes my old mind wonder and think all & what and how it served it's maker ect.. again congratulations on an awesome piece, I just recently came across your page so looking forward to watching yalls past videos and the new to come.. thank you for sharing
How deep are you finding them under Rock ledges, I started digging one and found some wood ash but not points yet

I use the basemap app to help me remember my locations. It's also quite a helpful tool in the field if you have cell service

@@bluecreekdetectors I know of a spot where I’ve found Indian head button covers from brass along with old horseshoes and what not. But I’ve never metal detected. A collab would be sweet.

Put them in vinegar for about 4 or 5 hours and all that calcium deposit will be gone. I guarantee it won’t hurt them. Done it many times myself. That’s a nice overhang you found probably much more out in front of it. Good luck

Laying on top untouched for 8-9,000 years a moldy cave crusted heavily used Big Sandy Broad Base!!! That’s a killer find so is the bifricate!!! Doesn’t look like that shelter has been touched…. Find of a lifetime if you excavate it correctly.. Good luck..

@@scottnock5241 the far left side has been lived in by a modern day camper some fire wood and old tin food cans but other than that it does seem very untouched. Very excited to see what all it’s got to find. I appreciate your comment a lot aswell I’m still trying to learn types and ages.

The other point is a LECROY I believe. Another very old type 8-9000 years old. Excavate it in layers because who knows what may lie underneath. These type sites can be important. Maybe reach out to an archeologist too. Great stuff thanks for sharing and good luck with it!

I live within 20 miles of the ravenswood bridge and used to go into ohio when i was a kid but people anymore wont let you hunt. Most are afraid of being sued or worse

Where I’m from kanawaha county wv is fairly close and it’s got a massive kanawaha black flint seam from what I understand that’s where it’s from.
