"not many sights to see but many feelings to be had here" love how you put it! I'm planning southern Italy trip in September 2025. I'm adding Tropia to the list. Thanks.

Were going soon! For the boat rides can you just go that same day and pay or do you have reserve?
@FigTreeTravel3 ай бұрын
Hello I booked ahead but saw that you could purchase a tour on site also. Just know that there are tours in various languages and to various combinations of islands. So English tours to the islands you’re interested in might not be available on the day you’d like to go. Also the boats leave early in the morning. If you don’t want to be disappointed you should book at least a few days ahead while you’re in tropea. If you’re only there for one or two days, I’d say booking online is a better option to make sure you don’t miss out. Hope that helps!! Have a great trip 😊

Planning a trip to tropea: where should I stay?
@FigTreeTravel5 ай бұрын
Ciao! Im not an expert on lodging but here are a few things to think about: what’s your budget? Do you want to stay in an apportent, a hotel, a BnB… À hotel will have lots of services and perhaps a beautiful view. A bnb will perhaps be more cosy and personalized. An air bnb appartement is what we chose. We had a really nice flat with a balcony. We cooked our own food much of the time. This is why I prefer having al little appartement. Hope this helps.

@@FigTreeTravel Oh cool, I like Pizzo but if you are a solo traveller it can be very lonely. I actually spent 5 days of my vacation to save a lil kitten that was crying for her mom every night! It was about8-12 weeks old and very hungry. So me as a xxl catlover can not pass by like the locals. One night before I had to fly home I managed to grab her and an old cat friendly lady took her. Unfortunately I was not allowed to take her home without vaccination etc 😓 it kinda broke my heart, but she is alive you know

Bergamonto may be the most famous product in Messina, but a small correction on your comment: Messina is NOT the only place in the world that produces it. ie i live in Cyprus and we produce it too in winter time.
@FigTreeTravel6 ай бұрын
Hello!!! This is true!! In the video, the gentleman says other people have tried to grow it but it’s not the same as ours!! Hehe! You know how proud Italians are about their products. I’m sure there is great bergamoto all around the Mediterranean ! Thanks for watching and taking the time to write.
@semmyrino9245 ай бұрын

Slaves existed in every culture throughout history, the word derives from the Slavic people who were enslaved by the Moose Limbs. Africans enslaved Africans centuries before the Europeans even reached sub Sahara Africa, and Moose Limbs started the first African slave trade 1,500 years before the Europeans and still continues today. Europeans ended it. Go read a book
