I think she really loved him. There is a look that cannot be faked.

I remember this song so well as it was No 1 just after I had first arrived in the UK from New Zealand on a working holiday in May 1973. I was 18 and living and working in Falmouth in Cornwall.

0.34 quite ominous. There have been quite a number of pieces of footage of Savile that in hindsight are particularly eerie knowing what we now know. This is near the top of the list.

I remember this period very well - the music is great, sort of the tail end of the mod '60s. Very few comments about Saville however. I hope we aren't forgetting this evil predator - or his employers?

Poor guy. Losing vision in two accidents as a child. And as a grown-up getting bone-cancer. Not just a first price in life's lottery.

It's Sat 7 Dec 2024! Where did time go! This afternoon I sang this to our daughter who came home from uni. Next thing I am looking up the song on Google. I remember the song, I remember the times. Happy days!

Love em or hate em . These boys are probably responsible for influencing the guitar of choice of thousands of bamds that followed them why? Cliff Richard is credited as being the first person to buy/ import a Fender Stratocaster into this Countty from the USA which he gave to Hank Marvin. The rest as they say is History!
