When it comes to the black underbody and trim pieces, I’ve found the Duplicolor Trim and Bumper paint is the way to go. It’s more of a dye than a paint and makes the plastic look brand new. I’ve done several carts using it and they still look nice and black. Always look forward to your videos!

Free Tip, that will save you a fortune. Before you buy a 72v battery. Check out the Spiderway batteries 72v 105ah option. Vatrer, spiderway, and another brand I can't remember the name of atm, are all made by the same manufacturer. BYD (Build Your Dreams), they make electric cars, the batteries are of a very high quality, and come with the best gage/monitor, in the business. My 72v Spiderway battery, was almost half the price of a 72 v Eco battery, and the Eco was the next best option for me in Australia. I'll put it this way, the battery was so cheap, I didn't think it was legit, almost didn't order it because I didn't think there was any chance I'd actually get it, but, I did. With a Navitas 600amp controller and 5kw motor, 22" tires, I get 50mph, and a lot of run time.
@dropbear95265 күн бұрын
After I mention it, good chance this will drive you mad. Ever noticed the rear wheels on the club cars, when you fit larger wheels and a lift kit. The wheels aren't centred in the guard arch, they're too far forward? The rear transaxle needs to be moved back an inch. Which would be easy to do with your rear suspension mod. It looks a lot better if you do that. Now, I'll tell you the problem with the Alpha body kit. The front wheels are too far back, so twice the annoyance. You need to move the front end forward at least an inch, or an inch and a half. It's a really easy mod with the stock front end, not sure if it'd be easy with a Jakes kit or not, but I wouldn't think it'd be a lot different. The cart with the alpha body kit will look ten times better if you do this. Sorry in advance 😁If you don't do it to your cart, when you look at your cart, you'll be focused on the rear wheels. Well, that's how things work for me at least. Everything has to be as close to perfect as possible, if not, it'll do my head in and I won't like the cart or get any satisfaction from the build. I have 18" Polaris RZR rims on the cart I'm building ATM, and the wheel base is where it should be. I get pleasure from looking at it, not frustration.

Another reason to go electric. 72v + Navitas has made gas golf carts completely redundant. I get 50mph in my Tempo, but, best of all, little to no maintenance. I'd never own an electric car, or ride an electric motorcycle, but with golf carts, it just makes sense.
@CartLifeTVАй бұрын
I totally understand, but we're finding ourselves taking the Golf Cart for 50 to 100 mile trips pretty regularly. Something for everyone I guess we're definitely looking into building a ridiculous electric car in the near future also
