Starting to feel like a Wal-mart brand and not so ausom at all. Imagine taking these off-road some place with no way to charge them...fund ends real quick. Wouldnt even consider these as commuters. How about stretch the little 7.1- 9.1 boards out, and add some real battery power to these things, combine all the best features in one and sell that, and put the keys back in them, at least they show visibe security. Stop advancing software when you havent even figured out the hardware, better yet the consumer.

Without getting on plane the boat is worthless. I seriously wonder though if there is another setting, if that jet pump can spin faster that little boat will easily get on plane with someone who isn't fat.

So $449 for 2 sprockets and a belt? Extra belt $99 and another $75 if your chainstay is over 700mm? That's crazy talk. You realize you can just cut your frame at the dropout and then make a plate that goes over the dropout to put it back together. You can use an old door hinge plate made of hardened steel. I got some heavy commercial hinges at the local Habitat for Humanity for $2. Use an existing hole and just make it the exact size and shape of your hub motors axle and younger the double bonus of having a much stronger torque plate. A hacksaw, a drill, a Dremel, and personally I did the tap and die thing for the mounting points so I could skip using nuts on the back. Belts are not expensive. You can find kits for belt systems for under $40. You had a cassette you just need an adapter plate and a fixy conversion kit to steal spacers from. A freewheel would be easier since most Razor MX series pit bikes have a bmx freewheel inside an adapter on the back sprocket(make sure you get the one that fits a freewheel and not the all in one replacement one because those fall apart). You should be able to do this for under $99 and have a spare belt or 2 for less than they want for one spare belt. You did way too much work to get that going and still pay that premium. Ouch. Belts are cool though. But honestly just cut the dropout kids and that way you don't overpay for a belt someone cut and then drilled out and put a pin through. You could do that yourself. Just drill in 3 spots and run brake cable through the holes and put a crimp on it. You would sone metal in the holes to run the cable through, just use some old spoke nipple or any piece of tiny pipe or some PVC would work just fine. It was interesting until I saw those prices. I know it's a niche market and Super73 owners like overpaying for everything but that's a bit excessive. There's a guy that 3d printed a setup that runs the belt over the chainstay so you don't cut anything. But like I said just cut the dropouts. You can get a welder for under $99 these days too and then you have a welder. Just saying.

The only choice available if I decide to convert my ebike rear hub motor to belt drive is a Gates “22T thread on/fixie” cog that doesn’t “freewheel”. QUESTION: Does the rear cog need to be a “freewheel” cog for rear hub motors? Does the super 73 have a freewheel cog in the rear? Thank you.

My recent experience with high power Chinese EV batteries was also very negative. After waiting months, when they arrived, they fell short of the design specs and blew out the BMS. American & Euro manufacturers seem to build better EV products.
