Thanks for tip, I just made one for my boy Major, now, I need to teach him how to use it, I can swing him around in the air with the toy in my hand, but he’s not yet understood how to use the spring pole.

she isn't ripped and that not how you use a springpole the rear feet should be on the ground at all times so they can work it see here if you want real results plus you need a spring for it to be effective here is a 134lb alaunt gentile kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZobHhKKLapKqkMk

Beautiful dog man, I’ve got an apbt/shar pie and he only loves to play with balls lol. I got a spring ball going but he not interested, should I try get a ball to hang off it?? Otherwise he won’t touch it lol. Is there are training process?
@Krebstar100
@Krebstar100 11 ай бұрын
You need to build his drive. Get a flirt pole and put a jute tug on the end. Get his prey drive going with the flirt pole then transition to just playing tug with the jute tug. Once he's excited playing tug with you consistently introduce the tug on the spring pole.

She's a beauty. If anyone is considering doing this, please use a spring attached to the rope and make sure your dogs over a year and a half of age. Otherwise you will create very bad health problems for them in the future.

Dude you have no idea what your doing. To properly use a Springpole you need to make sure the dog Back Legs are still able to touch the ground. The front legs should just about touch the ground.
@user-zj5rb3xo7d
@user-zj5rb3xo7d 2 жыл бұрын
Their is no limit to where it should be hung height wise you are just talking out your a** and having it higher off the ground can help build more muscle because its pulling itself upwards and not just standing their pulling down plus it can help train obedience better having the trust to fall down when told to and not just on the ground already

I mean yes your right up to a certain point. It isn’t to high but yes it can be a risk for health if a spring pole is to high but other wise the dog seems to enjoy its self and has heaps of determination.

Nice dog! 💪🏿👌🏾🔥💯 The ability to be able to move in a functional way. (Stiff leg movement isn't functional.) 👀 The ability to run... jump... and be agile for extended periods of time & distance... without overheating or being winded, easily... and breathing loudly & snorting. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Able to jump over a 4 ft. - 6 ft. fence effortlessly. Climb a wall... or steep hill with an incline with ease. If it has the potential to compete in the agility course competitions... then it's athleticism is undeniable at that point. That's where you prove it at. That and dock diving. Now, another form of athleticism and/or power... is in weight pulling. That's a different kind of athlete... but some are still agile and can move, too. I've seen dogs 150 lbs. and 29 inches tall like Ghostface from DDK show some pretty impressive athleticism. So don't let the height & weight fool you... because there are 22-23 inch dogs 130 lbs. that can do more than you might think. It just depends on how they're bred. My new pup, "AZA"s mom is 115 lbs. and I had to stop her from jumping over a 4 ft. wall to the other kennel. 🤷🏾‍♂️ She comes from Gr. Ch. weight pull lines.

Exactly we try to hit ALL types of workouts over here from weight pulling to frisbee! Theres nothing competition wise we haven't really touched on other than the agility course lol but its actually in the works we just ordered a bad one... 🤦🏿‍♂️ And all of this In some of the biggest well put together bulls you will find! 💪🏿

I got the same harness, I’ve been using it for a few months, my dogs will pull chains with it but when I put a tire on it the I guess the get scared or they just lose confidence and they won’t try to pull it, did you go through that at first and if so how did you get them to increase the weight they were pulling?
@hellsharktv2750
@hellsharktv2750 2 жыл бұрын
Yea puma did that at first. She would just THINK that she couldn't pull the extra weight alone but when I put the leash on her with no added pressure she would go like the tire was off. It starts off as a mental thing that they will/should overcome some quicker than others. Try throwing a favorite toy or just walking on the leash a few times to show that its possible and they should catch on.
