I have a Suzuki AN400 fuel injected scooter that has been sitting for 3-4 years. Haven't tried to crank it. Had it loaded on my trailer to haul to the shop. Bought a new battery, used fuel tank, filters, fuel pump etc..but I'm no mechanic. Last minute...I thought about this stuff, called the factory in South Carolina...they said suck as much old gas out as possible, pour in some Mech in a Bottle and crank it long enough to get the juice into the injectors and let it sit...couple days...or a few weeks....they said. Will not damage anything. I'm gonna crank it a little every 12 hours to get fresh juice into the injectors. This old Boomer is crossing his fingers. Great video.

thanks, how did it go? I had luck after less than an hour

@@hadleyreviews2666 no go. Im thinking I need to replace the fuel pump and spark plug. Got both from Ebay lately and trailering it to Dallas this weekend for my mechanical minded son to work on. Cranks fine, never tries to fire up.

Can I add the mechanic in a bottle and drive it right after or do I need to let it sit with the fluid in it for awhile first?
@hadleyreviews26662 жыл бұрын
every situation different? I have had engines I pulled the fuel out and primered the carb with the MIB as the carb was Gunked. sometimes adding to gas is ok read the label and make a informed decision based on circumstance

Put a light on and leave door open. Also buy some peppermint oil at health food store or online and mix in spray bottle with water and hit it 1 time a week. Worked for me.
@hadleyreviews26662 жыл бұрын
I started using similar in a spray and these bags that smell like peppermint xmas trees. have not had an issue since, also might have set some exterior traps.

Confused-did you put both products into the gas tank-the fix it fuel and mechanic in a bottle? I'm trying to revive a snowblower and looking for solutions!
@hadleyreviews26662 жыл бұрын
the fix it fuel is a product , its a ethanol free gas. with mechanic in a bottle in it I may have cleared the tank out and put straight mechanic in the bottle in the system to clear out the carb and fuel line

Hello, do you have one excavator? And why did you choose KX 040-4 over KX 080-4? Thanks and good luck!
@hadleyreviews26662 жыл бұрын
the 080 is massive in comparison
@hadleyreviews26662 жыл бұрын
the 040 is a good size for someone who doe snot need it all the time, landscaper size it does most jobs I want it to, starting over I would have gone with the 057 for the little bit of extra weight and power but were talking 25 k more. its all a trade off

Just bought a 42" tilt grading bucket. Haven't used it yet. I have a 12" trenching bucket which can be a pain since wet clay dirt will fill it up and get packed in. Also have a ripper which works well for stumps.

My Polaris sportsman 500 runs, but, if I try to give it more than 1/4 throttle it bogs down, if I slightly pull the choke while it's bogging it brings it back to life, I'm thinking the carb needs cleaned, gonna try the mechanic in a bottle here in a few minutes, just looking for reviews. Thanks

I have a question, with this excavator , for the type of work you do what three buckets would best fit ? If that’s all you could afford
@hadleyreviews26663 жыл бұрын
you def want the trencher, the standard digging toothed bucket and a grader. Im gettin g a 36 fixed. would love the hydraulic one but too much for me for now
