What is the medium you are using? As it dries it looks like paper, but the heat Gun makes me believe it’s plasti-cem? I wish I was half as talented as you. That is awesome!

I always work with worbla (thermoplastic), the tools used are mainly a heatgun, knifes and dremel tools.
