This reminds me of all the friends I’ve lost and or lost touch of , makes me a little sad, I’ve had a pretty interesting life so , wouldn’t change much good or bad. This is still one of my favourite songs that I keep coming back to. I used to play it in the evenings I was alone. I would stand at my balcony, smoking, feeling the wind and listening. I imagined loosing someone I never had. It was very weird, it made no sense, but today I have revisited this song and it clicked. I have been reconnecting with myself recently. The person I was missing was me, or rather feeling like myself and feeling loved.

Imagine if ... A girl whose soul is bound to a rose. She sleeps when the flower is awake and wakes when the flower sleeps. But if the Rose dies then so does she. So her father locked her away in the hopes that no one would ever find her. But he dies and she is left forgotten, only visited by the moon and the rain and only her pain and loneliness to keep her company. But the Rose is eternal and so she is condemned to eternal pain and loneliness until someone can set her soul free. She's eternal though so she would be deathly thin and on the verge of death but unable to die.
