The problem is that the ladies rarely do it, and so they're really bad at it a lot of the time. It's just a lack of experience and reminds me of when I first started approaching women as a young lad. I've had maybe 7 or 8 women approach me first and every time it was quite litterally laughable but that might be one of the few times when men are emotionally superior to women because I felt it would be abhorent to respond to them in the way women had done to me when the roles were reversed. I'm all for women putting themselves out there like we do all the time and exposing themselves to potential rejection or bliss, but understand it will always be different for us. You'll get more positive responses for sure, but a rejection will be much more devastating for a woman than a man, and it won't even come close to the rejections men get because no man would ever just scoff and turn his head in a room full of people after something like "Hi, I'm ------- , I saw you from across the bar and I wanted to see if I can buy you a drink. Can I sit down?" I've even had a straight up "Ewww" thrown my way, but you just pick yourself back up and move on

as far as i saw other videos about life in hk, it pretty rough for guys to earn as it`s expected, "a lot of money" when getting upgraded at work is very low, so looking for western guys (EU) looks easy, but life is hard here too. indeed it`s much cheaper than HK (i`ve did a research RO vs HK and UK vs HK) but what you can afford to buy with payment as a Team Leader in UK is not much more difference than an normal employee. after that, if i`m looking at PH, TH, level of living is much worst than last 2 in EU (even in theirs capitals). Just living with this higher and higher expectation, level of getting married will go down a lot.

This conversation with An was so insightful and moving. I also went through a similar situation, getting diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and having my life derailed because of it. I really resonated with his story of getting back into working out, I was training for a half marathon when I was diagnosed and had to stop running for a year. Those baby steps to get back into shape and to reclaim your life are such big achievements and your story really reminded me to be grateful for how far I’ve come since then!!!
