I was running this saw for about 2 hours at about a 30-50% duty cycle kzbin.infoUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and it did a great job. I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.

Is it really a good idea to stick a wedge in and then go back with the saw? And is a wedge even necessary in a tree all of a foot wide?

Wow I should definitely try this, all I used to do was uproot and lift the giant tree with my barehands, then threw it somewhere around, but this technique will save me some effort without any doubt.

Be very careful cutting down trees if you’re not trained properly. It’s a very easy way to damage property, mame or kill yourself. If you don’t know, call those that do. Money well spent!
