My favorite show of the year, musically. Appreciate you capturing these but again, I can't imagine sitting in such awful seats for finals.

this shows brilliantly the fatal flaw in LOS as a venue for visual understanding of crowd reaction: all those upper tiers are lost in shadow.. and from the field you can barely tell if anyone is up on the top one.. Compare that to the Indiana Stadium where Phantom conquered with "Spartacus"

Nah I’m on that field and we can tell. I couldn’t even hear myself playing during most of this chunk

definitely one of their most hype shows ever.. THis 3 year run post covid has been just incredible.. Serving notice to those top 3 titans that they took down one titan (Prometheus) and are gunning for anyone showing a sign of weakness. I honestly believe with the wild winds of change in design, they'll sneak in for a medal within 5 years easily.

@@jeffgray7922 I agree. I was at 1994 finals on the 10 yard line high. Was glad to see 2-7 alumni live but not brass blast that far to the side. Won’t do that again ! But I’m also not a fan so Lucas. Recordings sound good but live sound is terrible because of bounce-very muddy percussion. I love open stadiums!

@@jeffgray7922 lol well I am a performer so especially for finals we don’t have good seats to sit in, but for semifinals I made sure to find some better empty seats to watch from.

@@jeffgray7922 I agree. And now I’ll be more controversial. I never want to watch another show at Lucas. I went 2016 and 2018 and the acoustics are awful. I can only imagine all they have to do to make the recordings sound clean.

Thanks for this view. I haven’t seen anything live this year and it seems like the phantom closer is generating the most positive reaction / standing O this year. I love the roar with the closing chords
