An excellent example of how a good engineer can be a bad speaker - lots of basic/default examples, the most interesting/important questions- let's discuss it in the chat ((

it sounds interesting but unfortunately author didn't adjust it properly to the dedicated time slot and as a result, spent too much time "learning the song" and skipped the most crucial part :(

Doesn't asking to resend missing datagrams in case of UDP actually make it TCP now?

Hello Evgeniy. Your lecture "Spring-потрошитель", which is already 10 years old, is already quite old. How relevant it is now? Are you planning to update it? It's very interest when you explain how Spring works inside. Thank you.

Some adjustment were made, but "Spring потрошитель" is still quite relevant.

Scala is a convoluted mess of a language.. Smaller code comes at a huge price, compilation is slower and the execution time as well.. I dont think its worth learning, the ecosystem is dying slowly, just check google searches for Scala ..

By the way, actually you can paste your class without creating it in Intelliji. Just select correct package and then press Ctrl + V and IDEA automatically create a class file with your copied code

Seeing a video released in 2023 talking about learning Scala really warms up my heart 😄 I really believe Scala 3 is a game-changer, and if used with ZIO it makes functional programming pretty accessible (seriously, if you can learn React and memorize component lifecycles and all those built-in functions, you can probably learn ZIO and might even see some parallels/similarities). What Scala 3 needs is a niche killer app, like Spark was to Scala 2 before pyspark, that will bring in newcomers and help convince people who are stuck with Scala 2 to migrate to Scala 3 instead of some other language. Easier said than done, but let's not lose hope.

Hi Roman. I love this conference's idea, but the timing could be better. The last three months of the year are the time for deadlines. I would suggest thinking about rescheduling the conference for Spring.

Thanks for the talk, it was a great investigation. If we summarize, looks like the most efficient and simple way is to measure docker container memory consumption under the load. Then we can plan the number of containers on the host or the parameters of the virtual host for a container in case of autoscale. Do I miss something?
