This video reminds me of when I used to travel to Jamaica with my family several times a year. The children loved it. Especially, chasing the baby animal and waking up early to go out with their grandfather to feed the animals. They are all professionals now and give back to Jamaica in many ways. Skip Geer who wrote for Antique Chevy Journal told me years ago that Chevy WWll weapons carriers were given Pontiac flat head 6's. My neighbors had one made into a dump truck. I was scratching my head when I saw that power plant with "GM" markings. it was like a ton 1 1/2 ton with regular cab.

I contacted my dad. He’s had 3 military trucks in this era. One was a 1-1/2 ton 2 wheel drive, it had a 216. Another one was a 4 (6) wheel drive, it had a 235. It’s hard to determine what is what.

My Dad bought me A 41 Chevy p.up when I was 14 for 100 bucks setting in a field in 84 ! little did we know the Value of these truck today ! In his day he told me he'd buy A 55 Chevy two door Hardtop 35.00 and Drive it Home ! Wish I'd seen those days also ! ✌
