He’s not the greatest pianist I’ve ever listened to, but he is obviously a very talented and musical pianist. For that I think he does deserve his place and his voice amongst the world of piano.

@@brave1671 I listened to those recordings in the 1990's, but I don't remember an interview. I also recall alot of Kurtag from them. And the Kunst der fuge.

I decided to check whether Gidon put anything up during the current crisis, and of course he did! Gidon has been an inspiration since I first picked up the violin as a boy. Long live art, long live music. Great job, Kremerata & very best from Canada :).

Lucas Debargue n'est pas seulement le pianiste exceptionnel de ce 21e siècle. C'est un musicien, si rare, qui ressent la musique de chacun des compositeurs qu'il interprète. Il sait partager sa passion avec d'autres musiciens. Ici, avec l'excellent orchestre de la Kremerata Baltica, sous la direction de Gidon Kremer ! Merci pour ce témoignage sur la musique de Milosz Magin !
