@@ftnhungpiano Not knowing your playing history but I am very impressed with your skills. I just listened to your Ballard #4, again, I wish it was just a bit slower tempo. I am not a pianist, simply love Classical Music/ Piano, so I am not qualified to criticize but I just think you can really bring out the melody and let it speak to your audience if you would consider allowing some silence between the notes. Maestro has told me that I have a very sensitive ear and I hope I am not offending you, but seriously, the difference between an amateur ( which I think you are too modest ) and a Concert Pianist is allowing the silence between the notes, let them have a chance to breath. PS, looking forward to Schubert's D894 and D959 one day!

I’m not very used to recording my playing so I tend to speed up quite a bit. 10+ years of playing only to myself doesn’t help either. Your advice is exactly what I have to work on. I also love late Schubert sonatas with a passion. I’m currently working on D960 and I’ve skimmed through D959 a few years ago. D894 is also wonderful but it doesn’t sound good on my upright. p.s. Mind if you tell who’s Maestro specifically? I’ve no idea who were you referring to.

@@ftnhungpiano My favorite D894 is by S. Richter. D959 is by Jorge Bolet but am also very moved by Paul Lewis's 2nd mvt on both D959 and D960, in fact I would have flown from the US to attend his HK Concert if he had included D960 and D959. Are you going to attend his Schubert recital? I like Radu Lupu's D664 but also a private recording for me by Maestro.

@@ftnhungpiano Don't consciously think about you are recording but just express what your feeling of the piece and how you want it to speak to your audiences. I like your "Swan" very much and the arrangement of the Moon Cocoon. As I said before, you are way too modest!

Thank you. Unfortunately the 3rd and 4th movements are too physically demanding that they’re probably unhealthy to play. 2nd movement is manageable though.

@@ftnhungpiano I absolutely understand. Have you had a chance to listen to his #8 on his Radio Channel, he had slight struggle on the 4th mvt.

@@user-petit-cg-chan Sure. You may just write ‘piano transcription’ since the video was rendered with MuseScore.

It’s certainly out of reach for beginners but it isn’t that difficult technically for pianists with ABRSM grade 8 or above, nor it is as hard as the arrangements by Animenz. It may take some time to practice the voicing though. Some parts may look like they’re meant to be played by two people but it is perfectly manageable by one person with pedalling. Source: I play tested the whole thing before posting on KZbin.

@@marioprawirosudiro7301 ABRSM is an UK-based piano institute that offer majority of piano exams in my hometown (Hong Kong). I wrote this arrangement based on my skills (probably at the higher end of amateur pianists) so I can play it XD.
