Good to see we have some eagle eyed viewers! It was accidentally put on backwards as shown in this clip, but immediately after we fixed our mistake before dropping the lure into the water. The 2am start clearly started to have an effect through the afternoon...

What can happen when you gaff a fish in the body like that is you damage and waste a lot of top quality flesh. The first 2 fish I saw were destroyed by lazy inexperience. Alls gaff in the head or mouth hey bouy!

I've tried alot of gear and I reckon Okuma are hard to beat. I now fish with a 10ft Okuma sensortip UFR and a Daiwa shorecast 6000B reel. About midrange on price but they are quality.
