And I will say, you guys are very nice to these basic passengers. You could have doubled them up and pretty much locked them into their rooms. Such kind Travellers.

Is there a way on roll 20 to link characters that are in a marching order to follow the leader like a locomotive as you drag the avatar down the corridor?

I'm not at the end of this video yet, but I was thinking that you could roll a die for luck to use during character creation to adjust rolls up or down. It would give the players a little bit more control over their fate and a resource they would have to manage through the process.
@lancecampbell83328 күн бұрын
Kevin, you have a fantastic voice for podcasts and radio. I loved your character creation. You really have it down. I am planning to start my first Traveller RPG in a month. To make sure I have the character creation down, I am watching your video for the second time. I printed up three character sheets to fill out with your players to ensure I have the process down. Thanks for recording this.

Man, this video autoplayed on my TV and it brought back memories I used to watch your channel so much. Hope all is well and you're still uploading. My group bounces around between 2nd edition, Castles and Crusades, and Dungeon Crawl Classics. What do you use when you run 2E? I limit the group to the PHB and the complete class books (not the race books) and no player options or anything like that.

Great creation video. I've recently got hold of the Darrian sourcebook and wanted to recreate a Scholar character. This video actually inspired me to start with an Agent/Analyst character who then went into Academia - thanks for the inspiration!

As far as the name of the pet goes, it seems the matter has now been settled. I chuckled every time it was said that it had been given a woman's name because it was called 'Jude' as an homage to everyone's favorite ever-present company.

Great video explaining your campaign. I am on Ep 4 of your Barrowmaze campaign and started watching after I began to read the PDF of the adventure. I have since ordered a physical copy of the adventure. I am a big fan of west marches style games. I have helped run those style campaigns at my FLGS. When I kicked off my Castles & Crusades campaign two years ago I decided to run it west marches style and am glad I did. No more scheduling headaches and more focused game prep for me. With my current group of players I cannot see me moving away from that style game. Thank you for the many vids of the different games you play. Your channel is my go to when I want to see how a game is played.

Hey I'm not sure if you know but in roll20 for the traveler character sheets they have a macro built into the sheet that has options to,( slot stats rolled right in/ just roll the stats for self allotment/ same as the second but re-rolling 1's), which is helpful for in case a player needs to make a new character or a semi-permitted npc with a stat sheet in a pinch knowing how making npc character in ttrpgs are a must with how sidetrack players can be at times. Also since you could use the inbuilt skills page to tag all the skills to show up with only trained the ones filtered after character gen with all the modifiers built in only thing you need to add is the specialty's for sub skills. just giving you this heads up encase the group as a whole was unaware of the features in the character sheet.
@GrahamSpearing14 күн бұрын
Hey thanks for that, they sound to be very good features. We muddled through, and enjoyed the process. 🙂

Just an observation, in case it was not corrected in the video, you can use magic to heal stun damage, but not if the origin of the stun damage is drain, magic canot cure drain damage. Be it fisical or stun. Shadowrun Sixth World page 127: 'Damage from drain cannot be healed by most other non-rest means, meaning no magic, no medkits. Edge, though, can be used to heal drain damage.'
@DungeonMusings15 күн бұрын
Thanks, Leandro, someone else had also pointed that out, too.
