I got bored and didn't know how to continue so I decided to nearly blow up my furnace by making as much steel as I could, and then built a massive solar array. Now I'm starting on atmospherics processing and I think I have all the power I need

Wish my Astroids runs generated that many astroids around the spawn. so far either 0 or 2 tiny rocks with almost no ore in them.

Used this method plus 4 small passive radiators. Worked well untill one of the tubes bursted open and vented all the gas from the greenhouse, killing all my plants. Seems that some of the gases became liquid after cooling which caused the pipe tu burst. I'll try adding something to remove the liquids from the system.

Yea I've done this enough times that I practically save every hour or so separately now with a unique milestone for each save name just so I don't deal with this sorta issue again lol. It ruined a save and I'm not going to do that again lol. Have had some close calls tho.

this is perfect, opiions removed, the most efficient route possible without any fluff, as a beginner; so far I have had to pause this multiple times, but that's not a complaint that's you utilizing KZbins features of VoD so that we can keep at our own pace... so far I am 3 hours into my build of my base and 2:00 into this video, so if you went at my pace the thing would never get done

This whole thing is an over-engineered convoluted mess that just doesn't work. Nothing wrong with being creative but this whole series has been about you fighting this spaghetti clusterfuck that could have been solved with a simple filtration unit. I mean it's episode 7 and you still don't have a breathable atmosphere in your hab. I think this might have been a fun side project for creative mode but not what I was expecting to see with a brutal play through.

Hi Murk. You mentioned avoiding placing windows on the "outside" of the frame since it would take up that space. But if on the inside, wouldn't that cause wires and pipes to be outside of the hab?

Your videos are a godsend. Every other tutorial is an hour of talking and a lot of the basic knowledge is assumed. You walk us through it from the bottom up, and I really appreciate it!

Umm, I did this step by step and it was working until I made two additional, separated copies of the same system. Now they all don't work. And by that I mean they aren't turning on and off the heaters and coolers. With this setup if you manually turn on or off any of the heaters or coolers they should automatically turn on or off immediately depending on the logic writers state. But it's not doing that at all

On Europa I like to pipe the furnace gas into the hab and heat the hab with heat exchangers. I have a valve to stop the gas in the inside pipe from heating too much. It does take a lot of insulated pipes in the beginning.

I don't have any portable hydroponics kits. I'm assuming the game has changed since this video. Does anyone know the updated process?

If anybody is having issues with this(on mars for me) facing the opposite way horizontally, all you need to do is add another memory, and for me it was -90. Might be the same for you too, but I don’t know enough to be certain. So just adjust the value until it works. And you’ll be able to see it ticking in the direction of the sun travel👍

thank you for making these. on point. explaning what, when where and why. watched a few of these by you and they helped me tremendously in getting into the game. much thanks! that being said, i can second what wisnoskij said previously: if the a greater distance between cooler and sensor would likely help in getting the flickering go away. currently doing that and seeing where it gets me.

I didn't start with a Portable Hydroponics, instead I have Hydroponics Trays. Is this something to do with difficulty settings? Or did an update change starting equipment? Cheers for the video, it's super helpful!

After you laydown frames, you should dig them out before you weld them up. Don't weld what you can't see.

20:35 Not sure if something changed since 5 motnhs ago but when I try to get the parts to turn green, one of the doors will refuse to go green and i can't start to pressurize the room, any ideas?
