Aunque parezca mentira, se utilizan todas, aunque no con la misma frecuencia, claro. En ese sentido, es como un arpa. Resultan muy útiles para acompañar y mantener los bajos mientras se improvisa sobre la armonía.

Exactamente, pertenece a la familia de los laúdes. Se llama tiorba (theorbo en inglés o théorbe en francés)

The theorbo is God´s gift to mankind.. Together with the Viola d´amore and the harpsichord i regard them as the most underrated instruments put aside by necessity rather than merit .Thankfully we have people like you to bring them back to life.

It's a ground, so a bass of 4 bars repeating. In this case 4 descending notes. There are many many similar grounds like this one. The first part is original by Michel Lambert but second part is all mine.

No he entendido bien la pregunta. Si te refieres al temperamento, dependiendo de la pieza usamos uno u otro, acorde con el periodo y compositor. Y en cuanto al pitch, también depende, aunque mayormente usamos A 415.

¿Qué aplicación? Disculpa, no entiendo la pregunta. Este instrumento se llama tiorba (theorbo en inglés) y tiene 14 cuerdas. Pertenece a la familia de los laúdes y se usó en Europa durante el periodo Barroco (ss. XVII y XVIII).
