I'm the dude on reddit you posted the link on today. My post looking for this was over a year old and having these songs (and video look this crisp) is like the end to some side quest I've been on for months. Thank you. You can use the correct song titles in that post to correct your song tags if you like.

Cool, thanks! It was KZbin auto tagging. Did not even notice until today 😂. I'll correct according to your info.

As best as I can tell, this is the first live performance of Hands Down where "You meant it" at the end is repeated several times. I've always wondered if it was Michael Stipe's idea to repeat it. Anyone know?

Doyle and Charlie are fine. It's even better to see Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon holding it down. It must have been so devastating to their lives, when SRV died. Stevie considered them to be brothers of his. I'm sure Tommy and Chris felt the same about Stevie. I mean...man, they lost their livelihood's when SRV lost his life in that confounded helicopter crash. It sure sent me for a loop. I literally cried, like Stevie was a personal friend of mine. I just felt a profound sadness. Stevie, Rest in Peace.

I wish the guys would get back together. Doyles delt with his issues. They all do it for the love of music. Id like to think Doyle sr. And Stevie Ray would want their legacy honored this way. Listen to this. This is meant to be. It just flows. This recording is prob from a cell phone its crap audio quality ( no offense) but the music is incredible. Theres a handful of groups on the planet that can sound this good no matter where they play or the acoustics of the venue. Theres that screach i was waiting for coming from Charlie. Its 2021 we got the plagie wiping out people 24/7 we could use some arc angels to make things a little better.

Damn right. Sorry about the quality... I didn't have a cell phone that recorded video back in 2009, this is a full blown MiniDV camera :) I wonder if this was uploaded again it would be better. I'm thinking that KZbin's quality 12 years ago wasn't nearly as good as today.

@@macribas its great. Ì met Doyle decades ago before SRV died. Very cool laid back. Got an invite a few years back for a private show in dallas. It had been a while since id seen him. Unfortunately the show was cancelled due to Doyle Sr. passing away which was a tragic loss to the family friends and the music business. Thanks for the video.
