Why was this cut from the full concert!? The quality of the video is different from the full one, is that the reason?

Well, I watched all 3 parts of this interview. Never seen it before and I’ve seen most PC interviews on here. First off, I’m a huge PC fan and Genesis fan. Seen him in concert and own multiple copies of every Genesis and PC album and tour DVDs I also read Phil’s autobiography. In it, he says he had an affair with his old girlfriend during 1992 WCD Genesis tour and wrote Both Sides, which he’s talking about in this interview, about that affair. He stayed with Jill but it wasn’t a happy marriage. He left her after starting his tour. He flat out lied to this interviewer when he said he had a happy marriage and this album wasn’t about that. He also lied saying it was about turning 42 and mid life crisis. In his book he says he wrote the album himself because it was too personal and he was dealing with the loss of that old girlfriend. I’m really surprised how easily he lied about it all at the time. He doesn’t look comfortable in this interview or happy. He looks sad and like he’s going through the motions. This interviewer isn’t good. I’d be bored having to answer her questions. Wow, just surprised at Phil lying so much here. But I guess he had to keep up appearances. Sad. He seemed to have a major mid life crisis. He left Genesis and his marriage at the same time and the third wife was a bitch. His health took a dramatic turn after her. I wish he’d stayed with Jill. She seemed to care about him and take care of him and his business. Just an outsider looking in at my favorite singer.

Phil Collins without drums.. strange.. but maybe even more chilling than the original.

I was either at this show or one of the 2 previous nights. They sold out Joe Louis Arena 3 nights in a row. Capacity 21,000. First stop on the Invisible Touch Tour. I read it was the first time the album’s songs were performed live. What a show! I was 17. In my top 5 concerts and I’ve been to a lot them. 🤘

Yes, it is an Vauxhall Astra. It was then introduced as the new Reasonably Priced Car, succeeding the Kia Cee’d. The Astra was the last Reasonably Priced Car before Clarkson, Hammond and May left Top Gear.

Genesis later stuff once they sold their integrity & asses to America for the $ was crap but the early stuff..... Just sublime genius!

Classic the early stuff except the debut album From Genesis to Revelation. Not with Jonathan King.
@pup10082 жыл бұрын
@@thecinematicmind Don't think I've heard that although know of if. You are right, I think it's more the mid to later 70's stuff for me, work like "Selling England, Lamb, Trick, Wind, Then there were Three" etc. Although, at the time, I'd convinced myself with the help of others that *"Duke"* was the commercial nail in their credible coffin, in retrospect, it's not a bad album with some strong, if "Popey" tracks on it. 👍 Btw - King is not still inside is he?
