Samantha Pearson, @ualbertasac director, and the @ualbertasac have signed a letter alleging that Israelis were not raped or sexually assaulted by #Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7. Shouldn’t a sexual assault centre believe all victims, and not just the non-Jewish ones?

legal education is mostly a white privilege thing why are their hardly any women of law that are minorities or woman look at ubc its a mostly white law school. law school should be more accessible and yes the law is so unfair in Canada the system is based on the moneyed people and very very unfair even a supreme court justice in Canada Former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, Beverley McLachlin, did make a comment about the potential unfairness of the law in Canada, In a speech she gave in 2017, Chief Justice McLachlin acknowledged that the legal system is not perfect and that there are occasions where it may be unfair. She said, "we all know that the justice system can be unfair, and that, despite our best efforts, innocent people can be convicted and guilty people can go free." Trevor your view is very tainted especially on racism there are to many i thinks in your argument .whitewash sadly i agree with you its bias based school

wtf? The blanket exercise is a politically correct leftist "woke" joke. You either have to be willfully blind or willfully ignorant or willfully stupid to engage in that vomitous nonsense and tomfoolery. UAlberta has made a joke of itself, I can't believe they'd actually post this without blushing.

The US has a higher rate of organ donation because the rate of death from stroke is comparatively higher than other forms of death, like heart disease. Stroke victims are more likely to be eligible donors (that's why the rate of donation in the US north is much lower than the US south, despite having similar Donor Designation rates).

It is a extraordinary and incredibly exciting Faculty to be apart of. Truly a wonderful place to study the law and become aquatinted with the legal profession. “Equity, diversity, and inclusion are not just paid lip service” at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, as truly stated by Dean of Law, Dr. Paul D. Paton.

Sadly there isn't the will for change. Not in the halls of power not among the great unwashed. the price of gas swings 10 cents per litre over night we shrug and stick the nozzle in the tank. "Our" constitution was given to us by The Imperial Parliament of Great Britain adopted by our parliament then reworked to its present form the preamble ought to read "WE THE SHEEPLE" because we are as feckless as our new <stroke>KING,</stroke> Prime Minister It doesn't matter Mr Coyne we always get the government we deserve. Personally I would start a revolution today but I would be the only one.

In answer to the last question - the human predilection to denial and failure to see around our blind spots may be at play. I believe the question is valid and apparent to many of us who perceive differently. Our experiences are valid ones as well. Such is not alarmism - it is more likely avoidance of truth.

The only reason we're given permission to religion is to appease people who really do the wrong thing, & to put us in the same criminal basket so that they don't feel or look so bad in comparison. Doesn't anybody see? Koooooeeeeeeeeeeee!e!

..change "the freedom to religion" to "freedom to no religion", & watch our customs return & our mouths open again. To say "lets have freedom of religion" is like saying "let's legalize pot". It puts pressure on people to think that it must be a bad thing. Does anyone understand ? We're being incriminated. You too Christian Americans. You too.

Correction 1: & those we call our pollys are happy to use the word minister as we are not. permitted or hoped to live up to the meaning of the word anymore. Correction 2: disrespectful winging zombies who won't take care of their family members in old age. it is as though they are children of the government now, & they are against us. (& a bit of hard work just to build character).

The Islamic Brotherhood do not turn a blind eye to Christians :-/ , what are you Talking about ?? ? & Our anti-discrimination laws are forcing us into a DUEL LAW system with the people of Muslim religion, who's religion is LAW, CULTURE & RELIGION ROLLED INTO ONE unlike other religions. Decades ago it was a ministers duty to explain the ins & outs of our constitution (practical christianity) to their congregation. But then they & school teachers were told not to go into the constitution so much as it "offended some immigrants. We had our voice taken away, & sit here not considered qualified to smack our own children anymore, unable to share in detail to eachother anymore our personal experiences, & the ones who wack their children are also the ones telling their kids to be quiet about it. we live with the expectation we'll be shunned for what we do, meanwhile not knowing if everyone else feels or does the same things that we do. For the freedoms of the minorities, the majority is stigmatized. Doctors losing licenses for refusing to perform abortions based on conscience. Same-sex marriage advocates pushing to change the meaning of the word marriage on Everyone it means something to. ..& then regardless of whether it be nurture or nature what makes a child decide it's sexual-preference by age 3, homosexuals want IVF & adoption rights & transvestite manequins in YOUR clothier, ..& say we discriminate against them. Minority groups see the word discrimination as a means of getting anything they like, without admitting that what they do isn't so much in fact against religious expectations, but against scientific understanding. It's just too easy to blame the church, to demand from the majority, & to break Gods laws in Australia, as we must keep our mouths shut now & our children like the immigrants from long ago take us for granted & are happy to disown us. they say "we have no culture", & those we call our pollys are happy to use the word minister as we are not permitted or hoped to anymore. The last generation or two have forgotten what we stand for. we used to eat cement & now we're a country of undisciplined uneducated unaccountable disrespectful zombies who will not take care of me in old age. Centrelink & cars have corrupted & dispersed the people, & to think we built the nullabore trainline with our bare hands long ago. We used to work together, remember? & by the way we were founded as a Christian nation by Henry Parkes, & were so proud to be unlike any other nation in the world. ..but we hush hushed for you & our children have lost our democratic Christian way as a consequence. WE ARE NOW A LOST GENERATION & THINGS NOW LOOK GRIM FOR US.
