Hi how long does the zeee 6000mah battery last for from fully charged to going flat when running it in rc car
@nickuvarov17 ай бұрын
I have Hoovo 2s 7600 mah, charging them to 7500 mah and run 30-40 minutes in medium mode (50% full throttle, 50% smoothly driving).
@billyjones5892 жыл бұрын
That's a nice spot for rc bashing, the Zee's don't last long because of the higher C . I have the spektrum smart batteries which are 2s 30c and last alot longer than my Zee 3s 80c. Personally I wouldn't go higher than 50c because the electronics will get fried in short time, especially if you have a short can motor.
@derkchurk58792 жыл бұрын
The reason you see little difference is because your car isn't able to fully utilize the extra on demand current capabilities that the 100c gens battery offers, what you hook up will only draw as much amperage as it requires, doesn't matter the rate capacity of the battery, that is just showing the overall potential of the battery, it doesn't mean you will use it, the higher c rating just means the battery is able to discharge faster when it is needed, in your case you really don't need the extra capability, if your car only can draw a certain amount then that is what it will draw regardless of the c rating of the battery. You see a speed increase with the s rating being higher due to your voltage being higher. Higher c rating won't hurt, lower then recommended will because the on demand burst current required will be more than what they battery could give at any given time. Voltage is flow, current is capacity, c rating in this case is a burst rating.

C rating is your burst. Try a 50 C and jump to 100c and u will always notice difference in acceleration / torque.

Hobbywing recommends atleast 70c batteries to get the most out of their electronics and I have seen a difference in power increase but the batteries also drain alot quicker with the higher C, so it's no gimmick.

What are you doing to your cars?? I have a kraton 6s and I've broken so many things in 2 years really jumping high (mostly landing on grass, dirt, sand and gravel though, almost never on concrete maybe that's why) but It's still running the original ESC fan. I did have to resolder the wires to its pads recently though.
@dis3nchant3d424 жыл бұрын
@@ELValenin mostly driving them on an 8th scale outdoor dirt track. Sometimes the bmx track for really big jumps and flips - but it never breaks there, the fan breaks at the track, even when there is virtually no real crashing there most of the time. I think little tiny pebbles get in and wreck the blades then it burns out. Doesn't matter anymore I took the fan off completely, don't need it with the max 6 on an 8th scale.
@ELValenin4 жыл бұрын
@@dis3nchant3d42 ok. That's one way to solve the Issue LOL. Anyways, if little rocks and stuff are a problem you can put a fine mesh guard thingy over your esc (kinda like drywall tape but not sticky) or you could get an aluminum fan for around $15
@dis3nchant3d424 жыл бұрын
@@ELValenin tried the mesh before it still broke 🤣 - wanted the max 6 combo anyway. But aluminum fans work like a charm on my 22x4 - that's probably the route I'd recommend on these as well

You know, we've run maybe 15 packs through this first one without any breakages. Most of it has been home ramp on to hard dirt and dirt rc tracks nearby. I've taken them both to our bash spot in Marshall Canyon once which is notorious for destroying bearings and driveline parts but they were both fine. I think their open design allows the rocks to bounce around and out of the car before becoming too much of an issue. No issues with the diffs and I haven't had any need to open them up to check. Yet. :)
