Better to get a bike with more power & convert it with a tow along then give these dudes all your money & only have 50A battery capacity & a single hub motor to show for it... you can literally save $$$ & get twice the battery capacity & dual motors & still have almost 2 grand left over for the mods by passing on the $4 200 & only getting 50A & a single hub motor- anyone can fashion the chain tensioner out of a spring loaded pulley wheel... so really this is a massive mistake to spend that kind of cash for this thing
@Ennovation4 күн бұрын
Hey there! I appreciate your feedback! I think there are some good qualities here that you couldn't get from that setup you mentioned, but I'ma big fan of dual motors myself :P So I would love to see something like that.
@MrAdamNTProtester4 күн бұрын
@@Ennovation Here is just one example of what I am talking about: 60ah & Dual Motor $2 199.00 H7 AWD(Dual Motor) [They now make an H9 version] 60Ah (Rear Battery) 2 880 WHr <<< Save $300 for H7AWD $300 OFF coupon: PD300 Buy ANY H7 bike get a free $300 gift package= basket + rack bag + helmet So with the coupon code you are under 2 grand for that bike! If you bought that far more powerful bike you would then have 2+ grand left over for your custom tow along... I don't know what features you are talking about- the convertible seat only sits one... you could make TWO tow alongs one dedicated to passengers & one to cargo for 1 grand each & still match that price.... There are dual motor dual battery bikes that get 200 mile range from a single charge... the options are way better no matter what your purpose... they created a joke convertible single seat to cargo box & used that as an excuse to make a single hub drive motor with a weak battery capacity somehow worth over 4 grand... There are bikes that now have speeds of 40 MPH, & others with a range of 150- 200 miles, My prediction is that either the company pulls the plug on that absurd design & price or they go out of business by 2027... we will see if these clowns turn me into a prophet of these modernist times!

Nice review. I just bought a Big Sur and Big Sur Sport last week. Best bikes we have ever owned. I love the Big Sur. Fast, comfortable and loaded with really nice components. Also, you actually do need the key to put the battery back in. There's an inner latch that gets set and it disables the button. Guy at the bike shop showed me how it works. It keeps the battery from coming out, in case you accidentally hit the button when you don't mean to.

How much ground clearance is there to lowest part of chain drive? Also, do you have an update on when they might come out with a 750W motor that makes this street legal without a motorcycle license?
@Ennovation17 күн бұрын
Has a little less than 5" of clearance on the bottom. So, pretty decent clearance for a trike. And the motor is 6" of clearance. The new 750-watt version should be in mid-august. I think they're currently taking pre-orders on those. Sounds like it's pretty popular, so would definitely recommend hopping on those pre-orders if this is the trike you're looking for.

Very good and super informative. I have a Liberty Trike. I need more speed, more distance and definitely more stability. I think I found what I need in this trike. The Liberty has a low step through but not as low as this. When we go out on a trail, I can only get the Liberty up to 11pmh unless going straight downhill. I go through a battery every 7 miles! This sounds awesome. I wouldn’t have to constantly be doing calculations in my head to make sure I can get back to the car. There is a hill near my house that I have to take at a near stop with the Liberty. Having differential will make it so much safer. The step through is perfect for me on this Emojo, since I have such limited mobility in my left leg. Thanks for this!

I am can’t seem to find the correct answer. Out of the box can it be Class 3 (28mph w PAS) or does it need unlocked with the dongle? I am getting conflicting answers.
@Ennovation24 күн бұрын
For the Santa Monica, you don't need a dongle. For the Big Sur and the Sport, you do (currently). It's a simple menu to get to where you can select though the different riding modes. Obviously I usually use mine in Unlimited mode, cause I like the speed. lol So in summary, Santa Monica, no dongle needed. For Big Sur and Big Sur Sport, you still need to go into a dealer and have them use their dongle to unlock the max speed.

What would you rate this bike out of 100?
@EnnovationАй бұрын
I’d probably give it a 92 because it is kind of in its own category. It’s lighter than most, can fly with it, which most can’t, Range is a downside for me, but throwing on the range buster makes a big difference, especially if you’ve got the coin to throw down for two of those here.

Can you comment on the off road maneuverability? Is there much difference between the sport and the 25"
@EnnovationАй бұрын
20” is a bit more maneuverable, but there’s a better attack angle with the 26” wheels. I’d say both have their pros and cons, and both are decent off road choices in my opinion.

What would cause the moror to just stop? I have tried many things but once the bicycle has been ridden for about 20 minutes the motor just stops, most often when going up hills. The throttle also doen not function. It can take a minute or two to funtion again but sometimes I need to tunr the power off and on again. I have only 45 miles on my Eb 7 ST.
@EnnovationАй бұрын
It sounds like it could be a few things. The main things to look at are the motor, battery and controller. If I had it with me, I'd check the battery, make sure it's showing the right voltage, etc. Then look at the motor, to make sure that's functioning properly (which it sounds like it is for the most part) and then I'd look at the controller. If you're on hills and the bike is dying, could have to do with the draw on the battery (which could be a battery or controller thing). If we consider the throttle working sometimes, but only after a full reset, I'd lean towards the controller. But without seeing the bike in person here, it would be hard to tell. Might be worth it to take it into a local bike shop, or I might reach out to JAISON and see if they can send you a new controller. They're going to want pictures or videos of the problem, so be prepared with that when they ask if you go that route. I'd try swapping out that controller first (after possibly running through some more deductions first). Like make sure the throttle is properly plugged in, etc. Lots of small things to go wrong on Ebikes. Would love to be updated once you figure this thing out, so other users experiencing similar problems could find it useful. Thanks for sharing your journey so far! I hope it gets resolved quickly for you!
