These tribes are all over AliExpress, but it's probably going to cost you the same amount... To get it here through customs and everything. I would love rickshaw type of trike "they don't go uphill very good" at least with the weight I'm going to need to carry all the time.

I recently purchased two snapcycle S1 foldable bikes. After 7 miles one of the bikes as soon as you power it on the display comes on and immediately goes out. The bike runs but the display does not work. I contacted snapcycle and they requested a video. I sent the video to them three different times. They have not responded back and it’s been nine days. It appears that I’m stuck with a bike that I purchased that does not work properly. I do not recommend at all. RUN ! …

THe black version is dope. I also like the El Tigre (gray and orange), but yeah Black might be the slickest. I think the white version I was most skeptical about, but I thought it ended up being pretty nice.

Not a very good review...When the first comment I hear is the seats a little higher? Can you tell us the height? Sorry but there's a million of these reviews and you're saying things like I like this... For me as a buyer I would love some stats? Seat height bar height maybe front chainring? Great idea moving the throttle inside brilliant! Love your Big Sur Sport review.🤜🤛

What did you use to tighten the display to the crossbar? The original bars are much bigger where the display mounts. The crossbar on the new bars is much thinner.
@Ennovation
@Ennovation 9 күн бұрын
You know, I had a ton of rubber bar spaces lying around and threw some of those on. You'll see those on bikes where they do have a thinner bar, so rather than just making the clamps smaller to fit the bars they went with, they'll have these rubber spaces in there that take up that empty space so you can mount it to the bars.
@DennisSpencer-m5d
@DennisSpencer-m5d 8 күн бұрын
@@Ennovation Okay. I had a pair of rubber grips that I wasn't using so I cut a small section of that the same width as the display clamps. I also realized that switching to these bars gave me less bar for all the accessories. I ended up putting the power button on the cross bar also. The next problem I ran into was my mirror brackets. I ended up switching them to the opposite sides and placed them on the down tube of the handlebars. They seem to work but this is my wife's bike so I let her decide if she wants them there.

Why didn't you show us the battery and how it's stored and removed? Also is the handlebar height adjustable? It seems like you have to be leaning forward more than being able to sit more upright. What about the actual milage on a full battery charge.
@Gigantortacoma4x4
@Gigantortacoma4x4 11 күн бұрын
You spend most of the review going up and down hills why didn’t you give us a review on the distance on a fully charged battery? That’s what most people are interested in besides the top speed. On a 48 volt 14ah battery most people WILL not get 30 miles on a full charge especially if most of their riding is at speeds greater than 20mph.

Hey man. Great review! Been researching e-bikes all week and your videos are some of my fave. I’m torn between a Big Sur and an Aventon Aventure 2. Went to LBS to test ride an Aventure, which they didn’t have in stock, so they recommended I ride the Big Sur. It was great! But I’ve read so many good things about the Aventure that I want to ride it before making a decision. Can you help?? Thanks!
@Ennovation
@Ennovation 28 күн бұрын
Well there's nothing better than test riding a bike to see if it works for you, as an individual. I can say from experience, that we have tons of folks who come in and ride the Aventure.2, Mokwheel Basalt ST, Velotric Nomad, Denago Fat Tire 3, and the Big Sur, and 90% of people that ride all of those go with a Big Sur. I've sold 2 Aventure.2s in the same amount of time I've sold 300 Big Surs....and that's based on people riding both and choosing the Big Sur. And as a fun aside, I just got back from touring Bafang and AIMA facilities in China, and what they're doing over there as far as quality control and product development blows most of these companies out of the water. It's honestly hard for me to recommend anything else to people if they're looking for longevity and a solid product. But again, its worth a test ride to make sure, but if you did decide to go with the Big Sur, you wouldn't be making the wrong decision :P And also, thanks for watching the videos! I appreciate it!
@TheCubanCigar5
@TheCubanCigar5 26 күн бұрын
@ thanks for the reply! The LBS got in a large Aventure 2 which I got to test ride yesterday. Nice bike, but the Big Sur just felt better all around. I think that’s my final choice. It’s priced at $1,799 (plus $150 assembly fee and taxes), do you think the price may go down after Christmas or early next year? Also, so cool you got to tour the AIMA facilities! Good to hear they’re doing some great things. From your reviews and others I’ve read/watched, it seems like they’re putting out some quality products.
@Ennovation
@Ennovation 23 күн бұрын
$1,799 is likely going to be the best price you'll see on it. Most of the retailers have been trying to get them to raise the price, since it's just a better bike, so I would guess that price won't get any better. Also, we charge $151 for assembly, so seems like you're getting a pretty good value out of the assembly from your LBS.
@TheCubanCigar5

@ pulled the trigger on it yesterday!! 😬 it’s being delivered to the shop tomorrow. I don’t know why I’m feeling buyer’s remorse already haha, but I’m sure I’m gonna love it and not regret it. They even waived the assembly fee.

Interesting video. I have a Trek Navigator f200 20" Folding bike & want to convert it to a mid drive electric bike but am not sure how to measure the crank size to make sure I order the right motor. Any suggestions?
@Ennovation
@Ennovation 28 күн бұрын
Are you talking about the crank arm length, or the bottom bracket? Cranks are measured from the center of the spindle hole (where it connects to the bottom bracket spindles) and the center of the hole where your pedals are threaded on, if that's the length you're looking for.
@benpar8120
@benpar8120 27 күн бұрын

Great review. This bike checks a lot of boxes. Realizing this isn't an easy question, but what is realistic range? Say PAS 1-2, flat to gradual inclines, not hills.
@Ennovation
@Ennovation Ай бұрын
We’ve got people at the shop who have purchased in Houston get a realistic 45-50 miles. A few who’ve gotten up to 55 hours just the larger Big Sur. But the Santa Monica is lighter, and the batteries are the same size, so if you’re doing some decent pedaling, would be interesting to see if you can get 55 out of it. Most people probably get about 40-45 in those levels though.

It's pretty simple here. You press and hold the up and down buttons at the same time. Then enter into the advanced settings (the power button is the enter button) the code is 1212. Once you're there you can select between Class1, Class 2, Class 3 Am Mode, and Unlimited Mode. Unlimited mode is how you get the most out of the Ebike as far as speed goes.

I also have some bigger hills to climb here in Inverness Florida and wonder how it will do on like a 30 in grade hill about a 1/4 long? I'm 59 and disabled so I need the throttle to take me up it by itself!!! Thank you
@Ennovation
@Ennovation Ай бұрын
That's a pretty steep hill, but if you take this to your local dealer, you can have them "unlock them" (it's just a firmware update for the controller) The throttle will do about 30-31 MPH, and they can adjust the torque, PAS will get you about 32-33 in good terrain of course. But changing the torque out, I would think it would be able to tackle just about anything in Inverse Florida. ;)

If I were talking handling, cruising.. jumping off curbs.. mostly bike paths How would you choose between the Pedigo and the(big sur) Sport? Thanks!!!
@Ennovation
@Ennovation Ай бұрын
The geometry here on the Big Sur Sport is pretty top notch for that type of riding, which is how I ride when I'm riding for fun. You can also unlock them at your local bike shop for about 30MPH with the throttle and about 32/33MPH with the pedal assist, so huge plus for me there. Also, price point...the Sport is $1,699 right now for Black Friday, and you don't get anything better with the Pedego. Also, I now have quite a bit of experience with the AIMA brand. At my bike shop, we've sold about 300+ of them, and have not had a single one with any issues whatsoever. Some of the brands are like 3/10 bikes have some problem we need to fix. So, I'm personally a huge fan, and the products are straight quality. It's my favorite bike that has come out this year for value and all-around ride experience.

This bike doesn't need electric,but if u must strengthen it .never bother with folding it ! The bikes to small im 5ft 9in and my knees are touching the handle bars! But if u must have eletric then use it to strengthen the frame in my case i reinforced the back by bolting more cross plates were the backwheels are attached but up near the seat then i put my own backrack and seens the battery is a very bad idea i added another to the backrack which really help sturdy wise as u will be getting a new battery so getting away from the original battery and just use the original battery as a back up ,now what i love is the thunb throttle and gearshifters all done by the thumb its class for such a small motor what was the meaning of that? I put a d4s motor on the back and the original motor i put on the front which makes the bike completly different i put a extenable bar and swapped to the d4s extendable hieght and 2.5 tires and sprayed it so nobody knows what it actually is but its now a very nice bike ✌️
