Roy just like Danny Gatton are criminally ignored masters. They were misfit mavericks in a world full of guitar god poseures they didn,t fit the profile. They didn,t do the. Look at me im a guitar god poses or wear the spandex leotards 14 year old schoolboys couldent play air guitar to their music. And Danny walked on stage looking and dressed like he,d come to fix the roof. And Roy looked like your Geography teacher

He would not want pity. And would not ask for it. He did what he felt he must it is not for us mortal men to judge I don't think God❤ would in the fulsome and definitive nature of ❤ what. God's clearest definition Simply to be thrust into the world and be forced to suffer eternally I don't believe that even with God's wrath that he would be so odious as to show no mercy in his sight and I absolutely it is the wisdom and mercy The humble that goes before God so no matter what your sins are what you've done if you can learn to atone and truly humble myself in the sight of the great plurality of conscious existence god has a special place for you but forgiveness. Be it gods will or not if we ourselves can't or are unwilling to forgive ourselves for the. Shortcomings in life Hither before the mighty grace of God do we go.

Roy was one of the truly quintessential. Almost philosophical true bluesmen that was a. Lesser known in the public but anyone who was a. Real. All time great. That Buchanan had a sense for the. Common chord. But musically he was right on the top shelf of landmark. Players. We all have come to know so well He was a trend setter. An innovator. And advocate for young pickers. All hats off before so great and. Sullen a man he was We must bear the burden of our respective crosses. But. As absolutely transcendent and majestic. His playing was a. Place high upon the rising winds with the spirit birds. And that Segway to a panoramic opening up to the horizon of the plains and. Mountain. . Where it and the sky meets Roy is one for the history books

This could be about a young man with a Native American mother who wants to take advantage of Andrew Jackson's clearance laws which forced the natives off their land and allowed people from the States to move in.

This is from her collective album Sometimes Why by Sometymes Why recorded in 2005. Sadly it's not the best recording of her voice. The best version I have heard is from the transatlantic sessions recorded for the BBC whilst in Scotland. This was sung with Mary Chapin Carpenter and Julie Fowlis and Donal Lundy on grand piano. Truly an emotional song. But then again, anything that either these ladies sing is wonderful.

Unique - there is no one like him as he did it all himself, whereas it is largely all pedals now. I think his influence is so much broader and deeper than we all know. A huge talent.
