Looks like a lil gold mine for some cool clothes. Its much nicer ( some of the prints) than what can find here in Europe. I could have a feild day there ! Wish I could afford to visit for shopping . And i dont know the money exchange , but i saw a sign that had a three on it. You can not get anything under 10 euros here ( no stains or rips) im living for that houndstooth jumper.

There were definitely lots of cool things to find, woah 10 euros is a lot for a minimum… I find thrifting in the first world countries can get a bit pricier than here by the less developed places. But it’s slowly becoming expensive here as well

Yes I’ll have to agree with you on this one, I wouldn’t recommend buying here to resell. Rather if you’re shopping for yourself cause the price point wouldn’t make too much sense. Although I’m sure some of the vendors would be open to giving bulk discounts if you spoke to them… but at a glance, I would say go to the market to shop for yourself as an individual 🩷

Helpful content ☺️ I want to courier an xs item (locker - locker option) is it compulsory to use flyer bag? And if not do I need to write receivers address on my package?

Glad it helped 🫶 No you don’t have to use a flyer bag, you can package it in anything, just be mindful that for your own goods sake to package it securely. Yes you should put the receivers address and phone number on the package 🌸

So glad to hear that 😊 you’re very welcome! My husband helped me make my website so it didn’t really cost anything, just a lot of time. If you’re just starting out with a store though, I wouldn’t recommend a website right away. Have you already been operating for a while?

Hey, the flyer bags are free. You can get them at any courier guy depot or kiosk. They can also courier it to your residence - this costs just the courier fee from the depot but the bags are free. If you’re sending docs, you don’t have to put them in the flyer bags (or anything for that matter), but you can package it in anything

Hey Veronica, I wish I could tell you good news but there defs isn’t one as big as JHB CBD there.. but there are good ones scattered around, I just need to find exact names and get back to you cause the last time I thrifted there, I wasn’t taking notes 😅😅 so I’m not even sure where I was, but I’m defs gonna make a trip soon and have to find the spots for you! Your best bet for now is online 😅😅 cause I know the up-priced ones you’re talking about lol, start on my website lol (shameless plug)… also, welcome here, and thanks for subscribing 🩷🩷🩷

You can see my shop on my website, www.singlesthrift.com 😊🩷… yes courier is always extra. I usually mostly only stock sets from here, I’ll get them for about R65 and sell for around R160 to give you an idea.

I’ve been to one in Marabastad but it’s not all the time. It’s not people that’s there all the time, they come and go so can’t really tell you where to go exactly. But if you go there, you can find some

Not too many, but a couple of swear tops. I wouldn’t come here specifically for that. If you’re looking for gym stuff, I’d rather go to the Ons Winkel in Hennopspark.
