This is a wonderful testimony, I saw parts of it on Instagram and had to come look for it here. May God pick us up from the crowd and reconcile us to Himself, may He give us a heart of flesh and rip off our hearts our stone, may He transform us into this new creature and destroy every rebellious spirit living within us and most importantly may He make us fishers of men so that on the last day we won't be stepping into the kingdom empty handed

This dude clearly does not know his Bible very well. Under Mosaic law, foreign slaves were chattel slaves. They could be bought, sold, separated from their families, beaten, raped, killed, kept for life, and passed down as inherited property. Every specific reference to foreign slaves in the Bible is to deny them rights and protections afforded to Hebrew slaves. The treatment of foreign slaves was every bit as bad, or worse, than slavery in the Antebellum south.

"In no place does it ever promote slavery." Liar. Leviticus 25 explicitly describes and condones chattel slavery. "44 Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids. 45 Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession. 46 And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour." If you have to lie to defend your beliefs, it is time to get new beliefs.

While I wouldn't necessarily use the word "promote", I do use the word "condone". Because the Bible does in fact condone lifelong chattel slavery. I mean by definition it does this. Which is exactly why people throughout history have held it up as their justification of slavery. It's not just that there is no outright condemnation or call to eliminate it, it's that it's clearly condoned.

Not true. I take God's words seriously. There was slavery in the old testament but it just wasnt about people of color.

It would take only one thing: Proof. But Proof and Faith cannot exist beside each other, as they are opposites. Faith's very definition is 'strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.' Would it not make simple, common, good sense to provide evidence of that which you believe in? Do not cite the Bible as your proof, because that is an argument from authority, and citing a religious text that is riddled with mistakes is not proof.

That's exactly why I dont go to church. People go to church and surround themselves with "like minded" people who will only talk about what they want to talk about, who will affirm the same beliefs over and over again. They will never get the chance for a different view of God and his word because they never look for it except through a preacher. Churches are evil and they keep you from knowing God truly. Get to know God without the aid of pastors and books and theologians and "like minded" people and travel the path less trod, the narrow path that only a few find and find who God really is. The wide path is not the path that non Christians travel it is the path that those who claim to be Christians, 99.99% percent, those who are religious travel. You had rather believe a lie than to discover the truth through God and God alone.

Coming from Christians that sell their soul to a higher power, for that higher power to figure out what they want to do with a person. In exchange to serve that higher power in the afterlife in a safe haven,.. As a slave. Only to be reincarnated into Amish people.

As a Christian teacher in public school I can tell you with 100 percent certainty that the failure of public schools to educate our youth lies completely at the feet of cultural and moral decline as well as lack of strong parental support, not a failure of schools and teachers. Public schools are also forced to design their instruction to the lowest common denominator because schools educate EVERYONE from bottom to top. Student absenteeism is also a HUGE reason educational outcomes are poor and schools cannot force kids to come to school. Students are addicted to technology because parents get them cell phones with free access to pornography and social media at an extremely young age. Our culture is destroying our youth.

I think she’s wrong to say Homeschoolers arent socially different. Homeschoolers ARE socially awkward. But take for a moment what we consider “not awkward”. Those same negative interactions with fellow immature peers is what creates society’s norm. Perhaps we should be priding ourselves on the fact that our children are not normal. ….
