I seem to have SampleTank 4 and Syntronik with 100s of presets but I don’t recall ever buying it. Maybe I got a demo NFR license 4 years ago….not sure. Regardless, I was poking around the presets and wondering if it’s of any use. Seems like a ROMpler, and inferior to Komplete 14, Arturia V Collection or some of the Ujam bundles. What’s your opinion?
@krinstarMusic21 күн бұрын
To tell the truth, I opened it maybe 6 times since I did this video. I really like the symphonic sounds I got with it, but the synth stuff is too similar to the other libs you talked about. It is indeed like kontact, but instead of spending 200+ to get get symphonic sounds I got them for $50...

From what I can tell, you buy the starter for $100 then upgrade for $200.. total like 300 plus tax etc..

heyman- its probably worth it...we use reason mainly but fl is an awesome companion toolbox for that...lot of bang for 1 time buck...patcher can be a powerhouse mod matrix & everything should respond to midi once you wrap your head around things... fl ui can be customized quite a bit now to have a more relaxed or super buzy workspace. as you like to explore- dive in..its fairly deep! might be an expensive hobby choice..but what makes 1 happiest in life? cheerz.
@krinstarMusicАй бұрын
Yea, might wait till the entry level it self has a sale and not just the upgrades.. I realize its deep..I was just scratching the surface... might be worth it alone just to get better and see the hidden gems I overlooked when I was paying around with it. Thankfully, the demo gave me plenty of time to explore!

This is a cool technique but at least Bitwig’s own Delay+ and the Arturia Delay Eternity have a mode to let you change the delay time without artifacts. Of course it doesn’t help you if you want to achieve the effect with Valhalla.

Also works great when paired together. But the worst thing about Melody Sauce 2 is not being able to import your own MIDI files. All the best.

There’s a free collection of old midi utility plugins called Piz MIDI collection. Within that collection, there’s one called MidiPolyphony that does this, with a few different options on how to split, like lowest first, recent first, etc. It’s not as cool as solving it in the grid but it works, is free, and already exists.

hello! i play guitar and i dont know how to make the same melody i play on the guitar into a piano, any suggestions? i cant find any useful information on what note on the midi piano to play when i pick for example the 3rd string on the 9th fret
@krinstarMusic5 ай бұрын
Two ways of doing this (and probably more) that I can think of off hand, one is google "guitar fret notes" and it'll show a fret board and the note lay out, you just to the translation to what note, and then look up the piano and find it. The other way, I know in the Reaper daw there is a note detector, that you playing to and it will make the midi for you. In Reason there is Neptune I believe that will do it, I'm nore sure about BItwig.

"Yes", you can route the modules to the CV out, and then use that to change stuff based on the CV of the other, Or I guess use it to run combinator and control a few things
@zyxyuv16505 ай бұрын
I know VCV has loads of good modules, and leads to different creative outcomes, but it will be helpful if you make a video about what you're missing the most from the Bitwig grid that makes you want to use other stuff, the devs will watch it.
