Wow, you're wrong. Take a look at just rock. It's freaking terrible now. It's become cosplay. Name a band that has taken the rock world by storm in the last 20 years? I think the last super rock band was Nickleback. Quite unfortunate but true. There just is no character in music or musicians anymore. I mean there are literally zero bands with any charisma anymore. This is due to younger people living more isolated lives and living through social media etc. I grew up with Plant, Mercury, Roth, John, Springsteen, Rose Cobain and so on. They all had that X factor that made them great. NO ONE in so-called rock bands today has that. And technology has made music disposable and homogeneous. Albums were just a big deal in the rock era. Producers were just as talented as the musicians in the rock era. No priducers are literally preset pushers with zero creativity.

Kanye can actually sing pretty well the autotune is a stylistic choice

This was awesome, hope you do more albums from the boy$! I also think you hit on this a bit in the video but to me, what makes them so great, is they're genuine. Their sound to me is best described by raw but well produced. Its like listening to a local punk band that had top level production.

Also, to go further into this. This was the peak of their drug addiction, $crim was in drug induced psychosis during the duration of the album. He is the one with the gravely, deep voice. As far as I No Longer Fear the Razor Guarding my Heal IV, its a "series" they do. Its usually 3 songs they would release at the end of the year and they would mostly recap on their year(at least that's my opinion) they released the fourth one on this album But as one whole song, instead of 3 separate songs grouped together.

Kanye undeniably released back to back to back to back to back classics from 2004-2010. And the fact that you can find huge groups of people that will claim each one to be his best work shows his consistent greatness. This one’s my favourite😊 And We Major/gone are the best songs imo. “Not much change” to me was a soundscape of music that felt triumphant, from which I never wanted to leave. The subtle changes (especially in Gone) were just enough. It lets the lyrics and flows take main stage. That’s a lot of what HipHop is. Fire, consistent beats so you can focus on what really matters… the vocalists. Plus Nas and Kanye on a song… Legendary

I know im a bit late but as everyone has stated, this albulm is amazing. While it is amazing, the live instruments and production in TPAB, DAMN., Mr Morale are on a whole other level and sound completely different from each other. Especially with TPAB which I think you will like a lot more if you havent already listened to it. Aswell as Untitled Unmastered(specifficaly untitled 05) which are all the songs that didnt make it onto TPAB. As I have stated, Gkmc is still an amazing albulm, but not my favorite from his disography. ...Section.80 is amazing aswell but I forgot to mention it lol

Excuse my language but I love that out of all the reactions to this album I’ve seen this is like the only one that makes some critiques and doesn’t just “dick ride” the album, and that’s not me hating on this album this is a solid 9/10 for me one of my all time favorites. And I like that you seem to be figuring it out and unsure going into the album unlike many other people who just know that it’s popular so they give faked hype reactions

Im not sure if someone already told you, but on School Spirit, he actually sampled Aretha Franklin, she didnt record the vocals for that exact song. Funny thing is, when getting the sample cleared, she told ye he could only use the sample if there was no profanity in the song, thats why its the only censored song on the album
