Recap Dance with body angles. Not sqare. Open during anchor. Do non-basic footwork. Pick one or two you like for anchor and practice them as much as you can. Minimal arm movement for leading, subtle, discrete is the way. Mix patterns. Two sugar pushes are not allowed after one another :D Use more stretch in anchor, for more dynamic movement. Hi Chris! Good to know it was helpful for you! Yes Chris, it's totally possible. I have students in my online course that they are learning and practicing alone. You can practice alone and when you get the chance, maybe in a social dancing or inviting some friend, you practice with someone. I think is better than you don't practice a thing that you wanna and liked! Chris if you wanna, you can try my course to see if it works for you on this way, and if not you have 15 days of guarantee.
