When I watch game of thrones, or vikings, Rome, or Black Sails (all of which I categorize together), I don't watch it for the sex. Hell, I'd rather no sex be shown and just assumed. I watch it for the drama and adventure.

Nice diverse cast. Ray Winston was perhaps a bit too Caucasian for a Mediterranean but it was interesting to see he had a Chinese concubine and a sub-Sahara African daughter. Oh dear. It should have been on cable. Also the commercials sounded so Christian oriented, when it wasn’t when you watched it (bec it followed the old testament more and it pissed of Christians, while as a person who grew up a religious Jew saw how accurate it was, the infighting and controversy etc)..it should have been sold more like a game of thrones or Vikings esq. it would have made it then.
