I used to watch this man and cry every year he'd lose in final. I've watched every round with every balls potted that involved Jimmy White. I almost had no other desires in life at that time more than wanting Jimmy to win the embassy word championship. When he missed that black in final frame. Not only I cried but threw my remote at the tv. Failed to break the tv. This pattern of suffering continued for years more.

Imo you cant beat Hendry when he plays like this. His body language and focus and aura - even Ronnie has never had that to this abundance.

Can anyone explain why Steve Davis is wearing a bow-tie when they're shaking hands at the start, but then a few seconds later, when he breaks off, he's wearing a normal tie? In fact the same thing is true for both players and the referee. Bit of a mystery!

Battle of safety shot. Just one mistake and your opponent is going to exploit it. There is a game here in the Philippines that during the billiard game. When one player was able to pocket a shot and rest the cue ball in a selected circled place on the table gets a bonus price from his opponent. We called it jackpot shot.

Ronnie and Peter. It's funny because I don't think of this match when I think of these 2 players. I always think of the big 12 break that took over 5 minutes by Peter. While Ronnie justs sits and smiles in his seat for a while before taking his next shot! Then the commentary saying Ronnie is always up out of his seat as fast as a greyhound normally! Lol these 2 are so funny and great sportsmen. I think they are both good mates even when they play psychology games with one another bless them.

This was anyones game going 17 each into the last frame. Just like the 1985 final but not finishing on the black! Stephen still the G.O.A.T. In my opinion and he could of won his 8th that day. Ebdon lucky. Like Dennis said of his 85 win; "snooker won tonight, it was anyones game and I was just lucky" The same for this last frame. Snooker won that night too! Great to watch again. 👍👏👌

@BadgerBotherer1 yeah, women are as good as the men in the performing arts like singing & acting, & they can match us academically, & yet they're 2nd best in games that require physical coordination with no apparent strength....interesting.
