I've seen truck overload damage on asphalt driveways before (usually propane and oil deliveries), and what you have does not look like it.

I watched the truck video and this video, and I don't think the truck caused those cracks and I think you went a bit overboard. If anyone actually wanted to spend the money to retain an expert for this petty claim, you would probably be laughed out of court.

The driveway was probably poorly constructed without adequate compacted gravel base underneath and those cracks were clearly visible in the video when the delivery truck used your driveway to turn around. You have no case. Quit whining.

While I understand you don't want people using your driveway as a turn around, there isn't any reason to get mad. Of course there may be some slight damage because that truck weighs over 26,000Ibs. I use to drive a 26ft box truck and used people's driveways to turn around if I could. Nobody complained because I wasn't getting out of the truck or harming anything or anyone. Not sure why they used your driveway to turn around when they werent delivering to you. But thats hardly torn up is it, i was expecting deep troughs from the forklift tyres. I think its a bit of a stretch to claim they owe you a whole new driveway mate.

That truck is probably under 26k with that little bit of load, I pull flatbeds, shit happens, chalk it up as a lose. Driveways still intact and he wasn’t there long enough to do any real damage, I know this because I’ve unloaded at 80 thousand pounds in driveways identical as yours in residential areas.

Sooo they didn't cause new cracks , just reopened old cracks. Technically they didn't "damage" your driveway.

Can you point out where the damage is, ??? I am having difficulty seeing it, I have compared a picture from O2 and 1.29, just having trouble seeing any difference. I am genuinely wanting to see what has been damaged ???

Violators will be prosecuted. There is no reason why 84 Lumber should have used my driveway as a turnaround. There is a road about 400 ft in one direction to turn around at. There is a second Road about a quarter-mile in the other direction. There is absolutely NO reason to use my private driveway as a turnaround for any vehicle, or a loaded CDL licensed vehicle. 2. As far as reparations for what I asked 84 Lumber to do, I asked them for $400, to have the driveway repaired again, to the exact condition it was when it was repaired less than 60 days before they decided to use my private property as a turnaround. That's correct! All I asked for was $400 to get the driveway backed in the condition it was. They refused to pay this. Because of that, all of this water got down into those cracks within the driveway, winter set in, and cracked the driveway and additional damage to the substrate below even more. Water, and freezing, expands! All these cracks are much more worse now than what they were after just two weeks of their truck entering my property. Thus resulting of now even more damage done to my driveway, there is a higher dollar amount that they are required to pay now.

@jeff brosky. Are you blind? And deaf? I say in the video. Some of these cracks are completely new, the others were filled and repaired professionally. This loaded CDL truck used my PRIVATE AND LEGALLY POSTED SIGN in my PERSONAL PROPERTY DRIVE WAY as a turn around!!!

I go home and wash the truck and find yet another issue. Marks on my wheels! Like water streak marks that wont go away. I call Tony and tell him the issue, he said bring it in and I'll look at it. Remember when i told them NO WASH?! This is why? They used some sort of acid to remove the tire shine from the tires and let it get on the wheels which ruined the finish on ALL of my wheels. Surprisingly it was a no questions ask and he ordered in all 4 new wheels in for me. ( i am thankful that they took responsibility and fixed their mistake ) I go in again about a week later to get the wheels replaced, they do it under my supervision. All is well until i see the tech using a gray torque stick ( if you are a tech you know the gray is rated at 100ft lbs) this is WAY over toyota's specific torque rating for their lugs/studs 79 ft lbs is Toyota Spec for wheel nuts.Now i'm worried. They do the wheels and i take it home and I go over the wheels again after about 100 miles and retorque to spec. Only to find one of my lugs is now messed up, the splines on the lug are deformed and can't even get the key on the lugs. I call Tony again and he said you will have to bring it in and we will look at it i told him it will need new lug nuts, he said he had them there. I take it in again for them to do the lug nut and the tech said, yup it needs lugs. We will have to order them in. I said Tony said you had them here. He said no we have to order them. So that means i gotta come back in AGAIN? They replaced them a few days later. Now the most recent issue i go to hook up my trailer and find all the lights dont work on the trailer. I find the trailer has some chewed wiring and my dad took the trailer to get it fixed. When my dad picked the trailer up i find that all but 1 light is working on the trailer. DING, that means the dealer screwed up yet another thing on my truck. My trailer hitch wiring. I call Tony and tell him about it and he goes " there is a junction box back there, it is not covered under warranty and we will not fix it " now they replaced the frame and they DID something to it to cause it to not work because it worked before i took the truck into them and now it doesn't. So i call toyota corporate again. They say they can't make the dealer do something and is at their digression on fixing it or not. So my trailer wiring is broke and they wont fix the issue that they caused. So long story short if you have a death wish Faulkner Toyota can work on your vehicle and make it happen, because they are good at not checking items that should have NEVER been missed. I will say i'm glad they fixed the issues they did BUT i shouldn't have had to call Toyota Corporate, or show up in person and tell them with proof and pictures of what they did. I gave them their chance to correct their mistake and they didn't hence why this post. I'm done for now. If you read this all, Bravo, I hope you can see my side and their side to this story. Tis the longest post I have ever posted. But there is good reason behind all of this, some things are minor and can be overlooked. Put yourself in my shoes, what would you have done? What if you had a vehicle serviced by them? Only to leave the parking lot, get on 83 south and get in a fatal accident due to their negligence. What if you lived and killed someone else in an accident? What would you do it?
