I lost my manual and was glad to run across your video. Thank you. This helped me tremendously.

This is why Keurig really sucks. Each machine works for about six months before you got a pretty much throw it away. Cheap junk. Meanwhile, I go to a hotel in Mexico and I know they haven’t done anything to their single serve machine EVER and it works like a charm every time. I’m thinking about stealing the machine because Keurig sucks so bad at making a coffee maker. What she doesn’t tell you is that the process she’s putting together takes all day! And guess what, it only lasts about two or three months and then you’re right back to having to go through all that again.

Hey hi lovely video . But do you have to do this after every use . It’s not easy right ? It’s a bi stressful when cooking quickly or when we don’t have much time ? Any alternative doing this oiling process everytime is not easy 🙈

Isn't there also a descale mode selected by pushing two buttons together, often mentioned in the documentation as the 8 oz and 12 oz buttons together for three seconds though the documentation isn't clear as to if this is the small and large buttons or medium and large buttons. Also, when I do manage to stumble into descale mode, I usually can't get out till I've diluted all the vinegar out and it doesn't seem to do a lot of fluids at a time while in the cycle so it takes me a long time to get out of descale.

I'll try this method. I just did the AI search and it recommended 50/50 water and white vinegar ad never mentioned letting it sit for 15 min, and the descale light stayed on. Your method should work better. Thanks for your video.

Sure but mine won't even suck up the vinegar. It makes the noise like it's working, but there is nothing in the cup

Great info. A few tips for anyone that cares. 1) if your reservoir has a filter , I suggest taking it out during this process. 2) I use filtered water when filling up my reservoir; this tends to cut down on scaling within your Keurig. Happy brewing!

I have a problem with several cleaners like this where many of them have areas that can't be cleaned out well and I'm worried they will mold. I had a hoover with an area that would inevitably get wet and there was no way to dry it out. I'm a little disappointed on this one that the bottom piece of the dirty tank doesn't come out. Any advice?

You’re supposed to let the Keurig sit for 4 hours after using the vinegar solution. And then run the water through.

I'm so fortunate to have a gas oven/stove. The advantage of cooking over a flame is huge. From 0° to 500° and anywhere in between in the blink of an eye.

You can also add a 1/2 hr in the sun to your mix and most likely all the stain would have been removed in the first application. The sun ingredient really boosts the effectiveness of this tincture. Works great on those old dirty yellowed sole white sneakers too!

That's great info! Can you tell me if you found a hack for the shower/tub area when you see brown/black mold on the grout? Our bathroom STAYS moist and wet, I want to find a solution like yours that I can apply (maybe bleach, let it sit, rinse, then shower/scrub the walls?) Any advice appreciated, thanks @colleensalpini2439

This is almost what I learned a long time ago with our Keurig. I use a whole bottle of vinegar so that it fills the chamber in the back completely with vinegar and let that sit for 4 hours. And only then do I fill the side canister with water (a few times) until I don't smell vinegar in the hot water anymore. Your method uses much less vinegar and no waiting? If it still works - I'm in!

Great video. But my mistake was thinking that the cup of vinegar would be emptied through the wash cycle, so I switched the cup from the upper rack to the lower rack and did a second cycle! How does the vinegar help clean if it doesn't swish around in the dishwasher and stays in the cup for the whole cycle?! Thanks!

The peroxide breaks down very quickly and turns to water. Only make small batches, and add the H Peroxide at the time you require it.
