Did you hook them up to an interface? Your dr-40x sounds better than other people's LOL. Also can you tell me what the pieces are especially the first one? It sounds so good. You picked really good and contrasting pieces

The dr-40x and H6 are also stand-alone using, not connected to other interfaces. Thank you for complimenting me on my own compositions made with impressions.

If I can afford it, I would buy the Shigeru Kawai for my home because it sounds so warm and sweet. But I must also say that on the solo concert stage, the Steinway is in a class of its own.

I appreciate your comment. Each piano has its own unique character, so this SK-7 sings with a very deep and warm sound. As you say, the sound of a Steinway can reach far, so I think it is useful in concerts. Enjoying excellent pianos in each domain is the best life. Thank you for your comment !!

Actually a good comparison, but in my opinion the best concert grand piano is missing... with the incomparably warm and incomparably beautiful timbres... the C. Bechstein D282... and besides, this grand piano has the best keyboard and the harmonious feel of the tested grand pianos.... 🎹🎼🎶🎵!!

Thank you for your comment!! As for the Bechstein's concert grand, I like the model before the "Steinwailazation". For example, EN. Thank you for letting me know what you like.

It's not a true comparison when you only play in the centre of the keyboard.

For sure, Steinway is the best by far. Others are ok

Thanks for sharing your preferences. I think Steinway's character is consistent.

LOL pianos are like ice cream. Ask 10 people and you get 10 different answers, that’s why so many pros own Bechstein, Bosendorfer, Bluthner, Fazioli, Sauter, Grotian, Steingraber. Not Steinway and Yamaha that they play in public.
@chikahiromasashi-studio225Ай бұрын
@@Thomas-xy4sh Thank you for your message. Whether many professionals don't own a Steinway depends on definition of "professional". I understand the sense of your message. My piano is a Bösendorfer, but I'm not a professional...
Powerful instruments, high quality recording and 21 minutes long video. I used this video to test my new iem haha, the sound when you released/hit the pedal was also perfectly captured and I could tell there was a bit reverb in the hall. The Steinway is still sublime, but I amazed with how various the tone that Yamaha can do with two pianos.

Thank you for your enthusiastic and happy comment. The sustain damper sound is the best part(s) of the piano. The smaller Yamaha pianos were made as part of the High Class series. Unlike the more recent Yamahas, they are made of excellent materials. I think Steinway and Kawai's policy has always remained, but Yamaha's direction changes over time, so there is no clear policy as a manufacturer. Thank you again !!
You play beautifully, and your 225 sounds amazing! Thank you. I also really like how well you can record that on just an H6. Do you make any changes to EQ or anything else?
@chikahiromasashi-studio2254 ай бұрын
Thank you for your very nice message!! My piano recordings are intended to record the sound of the piano's sound itself, so I don't using any EQ or other processing. I hope you will continue to watch my channel.

Beautiful playing, and thank you for providing this comparison. It's helped me select a recorder. I think have a similar setup as you do, and find that for the built-in XY microphones it's most effective to have the recorder inside the piano, pointed at the hammers. Gain between 5-6 works well for most playing unless ff. If it sounds too percussive, I will very slightly angle the recorder away from the hammers and more towards the string/soundboard.
@chikahiromasashi-studio2255 ай бұрын
Thank you for your hearty message. You have given me some good advice. Indeed, I think it is a good idea to point the microphone at the hammer, as it is a good way of getting the sound from hammers or actions. I think an ideal recording of an acoustic piano would include the sound of the action and hammers. I hope we can continue to be friends!!
This is incredibly beautiful music and masterful playing. Amazing piano as well.

I am very pleased with the best comment I have ever received. The song of this video was ""written"" by me with my feeling. Your comment gave me the courage to my live. Thank you!!
Thank you for your comment. I rode JA13XJ in 2023. Even if planes disappear, life is the most important thing. I look forward to a safe JAL experience in the future.

yes I know life lis the most important thing and also JAL's livery is very beautiful and cool on A350s. it was such a great plane . BTW 0:34~0:41 sounds incredible ❤

Dear@@raykan3643 Thank you for your comment. The 0:34~0:41 you praised was taken near Osaka (ITM, not KIX) airport. This is a famous spot for aircraft-fun. The aircraft pictured(0:34~0:41) is a B787-8, JA846J, and was delivered to JAL in 2019. Thank you again !
It felt like I was listening to the piano with my face in it. I can feel the depth of how the sound spreads.

Suonano tutti bene, la mia preferenza è per il bosendorfer, molto dolce e con bassi più corposi

Thank you for your comment. I don't speak Italian(sorry) , so I read it through a translation service. Thank you for playing the video. The Yamaha and Kawai are sized for concert halls, whereas the Bösendorfer is for smaller halls. The Yamaha CFX is very precisely manufactured, but conversely there is no allowance, so the vibrations do not spread. The Kawai SKEX has a unique soundboard and a traditional Kawai tone. The Bösendorfer 225 is nearly 40 years old and has a lustrous tone. This 225 has a character that sings by itself.Thank you for your comment!!
