Where exactly in East Bay did you go if you don’t mind ? I fish East Bay a lot but I normally launch in the same place, I know there’s a couple areas you can launch off at but im just not too familiar with them
@Tightlineangler18 күн бұрын
Nope don’t mind at all! If I remember correctly, I think I was somewhere on the South Shore line. There are a few places you can put in along beach rd. There are a lot of apps that you can use to find safe locations to put in a kayak two of which are “GoPaddling”and” fish angler”. I also like to use Google maps to find new locations to fish. Good luck in tight lines in the future brother!

Where you kind of just blind casting known areas? Can’t believe you hooked up after that boat blew by you lol also congrats on the PB!
@Tightlineangler3 ай бұрын
So yes.. I was sort of blind casting because the water was sum what murky, But on this particular day I was noticing a lot bait activity on the water’s surface! So I was casting out in front of the bait in hopes that whatever was chasing the baitfish would connect with my lure. In this case the baitfish were small finger mullet and shad!….Thanks watching and the comment!!! Tight lines!! 🤙

@@BriantreVino5 Thank you sir for the comment and thanks for watching!…. A friend and I are actually taking a trip down there this Saturday… as far as fishing holes … google maps is a great way to find areas to explore and fish. Just look for public places to launch “ boat ramps and such “ then find the closest marsh area that looks like it has structure like oyster beds and grass line! Good luck and tight lines!🎣

Great video sir I’ve fished for mangrove snappers in the past they are very structurally oriented depending on how deep it is where you were you could drop your bait down right beside you also live finger mullet they like as well some smaller mullet preferably will get you some bigger snapper and keeps other unwanted fish away.
