It’s simple. But it hits home. I think that’s why it works; Raynor is not some aristocrat with orator lessons - he speaks plainly and from the heart

I gotta say: moments like this are why I disagree with the people who think SC1's grimdarkness is the end-all be-all. Sure, there's the dark. Sure there's the betrayal, and the oppression, and the horror. But it makes the victories that they win in SC2 feel that much more real, that much better. After all, if there aren't allowed to be at least positive endings, what's the point of it all? What I'm saying here is fuck doomerism. We blooming.

@@whatyouthink Well, that's your choice. But I think you're really missing the point as to why people tend to watch LPs on KZbin in the first place. It's not only to see how others do it, but it's so that they can hear the person uploading explain why they do certain things and make certain decisions in real-time. It also tends to be FAR more entertaining to hear the real-time reactions of YTers as they play and the numbers seem to reflect that. I mean, if people wanted to see the game with no commentary, then they'd just play the game themselves, right?
