Saludos desde Puerto Rico. Eres un excelente maestro. He estado viendo videos para aprender a tocar el asalato y tú eres el que mejor a explicado cómo tocarlo y llevar el ritmo. Gracias❤

Thanks a lot for tutorials! Is there specific reasons to click left first and then right? I am right handed so i did it with a right click first... Is that a problem?
@AsalatoSingapore9 күн бұрын
You’re welcome! Regarding the clicks, on left or right first is definitely a preference. No issues on that :)

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. My asalatos are made of gourd and the clicks seem to be quieter than yours. Would you recommend a different material
@AsalatoSingapore22 күн бұрын
Hi! Plastic models may generate a sharper click. If that is what you are looking for, you can try them out. Otherwise, depending on the gourds, there are some that can generate really solid clicks.

@vidalcris Honestly, I am not sure 🤔 but if you are interested to speed up your skills you can commit 15 mins to an hour of your time to practicing!

First saw this instrument months ago on youtube, was fascinated. Now at last i've decided to buy some, so youtube suggested your channel and you are officially my teacher! Thank you so much, i can't wait for them to arrive, and one day soon I will also be able to make people happy with rhythm. Moving a drum kit or other percussion was such a headache... ; )

Can you add sizing info on the gourds of the medium and large? I bought a pair elsewhere and feel they are too small. T.y. ❤

Hi, yes the sizing should be in the description. Medium is 4.8cm-5.3cm and large is above 5.4cm

Hey, thank you for leaving a comment! Glad it’s helpful! Definitely easier at a faster speed because of the momentum it generates. Challenge yourself to slow down as much if you can :) hope the new sizes will bring you more comfort in your playing!
