One little detail I love about this fight: Maul doesn't use the force on him once. Despite his hatred, he respects Vizla as a warrior.

I like how this is just like the Maul vs Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan fight but reversed. 1. A master and apprentice fight a terrifying sith. 2. The apprentice (opposite) is left out when the master is occupied. The master watches the apprentice die from a stab. instead of the opposite in TPM) 4. Now he has to deal with the Sith himself. He he had an experience just like what happened to Obi-Wan. But this time, the one fighting the Sith loses.

2:04 Oh Savage was gone if Maul didn’t step in. I can only imagine how angry Obi Wan must’ve been in this moment. He lost his cool for a bit when he kicked Savage. Adı Gallia just died before his eyes, and just when he’s about to kill her killer, Maul steps in. But man was able to control himself, true Jedi.

Savage saying to Maul *”I’m not like you… I never was.”* was really sad. If y’all remember, Savage was originally not a bad guy. He was a good soul who cared for his loved ones. But the Nightsisters cursed him and corrupted his mind and forced him to be a servant to them and later the Sith. He was not who he was by choice, he was forced to be what he was. He was never truly like Maul, but deep down you can tell Savage still cared deeply for his brother even if he didn’t share his beliefs or agree with his morals. In the end I think he just wanted the both of them to be happy.

It’s crazy to think how much Darth Maul had lived through. He lived to see his old master take on 2 more apprentices and saw the end of the Jedi Order and almost lived long enough to see the end of the Empire. Bro had a long journey and you gotta respect that.

The fight was over the moment, sidious had them forced pushed against the wall. He easily broke through their force barrier Only someone much stronger in the force can bypass a persons defense. He's so obviously playing with them and enjoying himself. Sidious is definitely a psychopath clinically speaking. Its what makes him the perfect sith.
