Never played any of them growing up so don't have any nostalgia for Mario and I played them all recently. Outside of the first one on the NES and Super Mario Land 3 I think they're all pretty overrated.

uninteresting game, it's like the kirby creator played god of war/ninja gaiden and wanted to make his own version for the 3ds, with limited movements/movesets for the platform and felt the need to make some peripheral for n00blets because he knew the stylus stick feltt awkard to control with the game

Toad circuit was terrible besides that good video but one of the worse courses in any mario kart

honestly i think the stylus controls allow a significant amount more precision than would be with traidtional twin stick controls. i've never had issues with my wrist hurting like everyone complains about so i never got those complaints and someone else has already said this, but different weapon types have different stats, like homing, run speed, fire rate and melee damage. like clubs are entirely melee but move like molasses, but the earthmaul club has melee range comparable to other ranged weapons, and the phosphora bow (my favorite weapon) has a ridiculous fire rate and decent homing, in exchange for weaker damage at close range

1:40 a bit incorrect. If you have the latest jailbreak you must hold select on boot and that will launch the Luma3DS configuration menu. Holding start on boot you will boot you into GodMode9.

The camera is bad because it was the first 3d platformer to have one. Prior to that 3d games had been using tank controls. That's why the game is considered revolutionary, because it created the control format that's become standard
