Great vid, Great fish and good to see , blokes that know how to care for the catch! I grew up, spending weekends at Crescent and Sorell! The least people, can do is wet their hands, and cradle a fish till they take off.

Nice video. Do you use filters in your videos or LUTS in post production?
@krisamiettraveladventure2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching my video. I didn't use LUTS as i find they always make nature scenes look worse and diminish the natural colour and light, i do use polarising filters . I do a little tweaking with colour, contrast and brightness to make the scene more accurate to its natural image.

Hi Kris, when did you do the track 2020 or 2022? Graham
@krisamiettraveladventure2 жыл бұрын
Hi Graham, we completed this trek in 2022. Just completed another in April. 👍
@graha72 жыл бұрын
@@krisamiettraveladventure Hi Kris and thanks for your reply, the intro of your KZbin video says 2020. I was wanting to ask your opinion about Gaiters. I noticed in your video some of your group were wearing gaiters and some weren't. Do you think they are necessary or not? My wife and I are hoping to walk the trail this coming Jan-Feb same time as your group.
@krisamiettraveladventure2 жыл бұрын
@@graha7 thanks for picking up my mistake, I never noticed 😆 regarding gaiters, I definitely recommend them all seasons. Gaiters are good protection against snakes in hotter months and good for keeping mud out of your boots in wet months.

Really nice video. I left Tasmania in 2009, worst decision I ever made, my fly rod hadn't been used since. God, I miss the place and the beautiful highland areas. Loved your video and really captured the beauty of the area. Stay safe

Great cinematography. You really captured the essence of the central plateau. I liked the debate about keeping the fish. True trouties. It was a bit 50/50 whether or not that fish survived. Sometimes the beauty wins over the need for meat .

Lookin' great mate. Crazy how you can get aerial footage like this when just a few years ago you woulda had to rent a helicopter for a day!

I know, I'm always blown away with the aerial footage I can achieve for a very low cost. Not to mention a relatively low skill level.
