A good friend introduced me to this album back when it came out. He passed away last year and I’m 99% sure he was unsaved. Everytime I hear this song I think of him,😔

The first time I heard Neil play this was in 1976 at The Auditorium Theatre in Chicago. My other stand-out memory of that show was Neil sitting at an old upright piano for A Man Needs a Maid. Talk about haunting......

That guitar solo is still one of the most legendary Every note from Neil Young is THE perfect note in that moment. Accept no substitute...because there simply isn't one. This man has more passion in his big toe nail than the rest can hope for in a lifetime.
