Thats my friend Terrys factory V8 74 Gremlin. I too have a 74 with a built to the hilt AMC 360 built by Dougs Transmissions. from 72-76 you could get a factory V8 304 in the Gremlin.

Tbh..... Honestly.... I like the idea of maybe an Iroc-Z diesel powered ""prerunner"" instead but tuned for absolute performance Imagine.... Long travel suspension, 40-something inch tires, beefy bumper/brush guard, skid plate, and snorkel for those random water fording moments....

Wonder if that soft top functions. Makes me wonder if that is a true GT. I thought the GT only had a 390 or a 427. Convertible model didn't come out until 1969. A 69 convertible top would not be an exact fit. If this is functional, it has some good value, even though it is not authentic.

Jon is correct. I had a 67 Dan Gurney special, gorgeous, but had no A/C. Later a 69 GT convertible. Engine was 390 but too heavy. Made bad cornering.
