Not sure what you are specifically studying. If it is BTEC applied science I have made some videos for the unit 1 exam (just chemistry). Correct. Strontium is also acceptable. This as a test for sulfate ions is on the aqa and ocr a level specifications . Students are required to know that barium sulfate is a white precipitate. Strontium is also an acceptable answer. Solubility of the sulfates decreases down group 2.
