I liked most of this show except the one with the cryptid chupacabra and them basically calling all of crypto-zoology nonsense. now I'm not a strong believer in Chupacabra but I do believe that at least some cryptids are real. also the victim in this episode didn't just not believe in cryptids he made money by disproving things which would be fine except he did go only after the ones he could easily be disproved not ones that might have some kind of bases in fact. being skeptical in reality comes from Greek word skeptikos which means thoughtful inquiring which does not mean you ridicule everything right away you are just careful in your observations. But the truth is that believer will see evidence in everything but skeptic will not accept any evidence no matter how compelling. both approaches are unwise. but what quite frankly pisses me off about skeptics is that many of them (like this character in the show) not only don't believe it and think anyone who does or even considers it as an idiot but they are actually the happiest if nothing except their very narrow view of the world existed. and if someone would try to make the world into that kind of image by removing interesting things from it that person is limitting my evolution and the person in this show got what they deserved. however I'm glad that the person who killed him had nothing to do with cryptozoology because this would only give fuel to a fire that all believers are crazy and even if this show is loosely based on real person most of the specific episodes are probably fictional and if they made crypto zoologist the killer then they would vilify crypto zoology in a fictional show and that is how it would be perceived in real life
