By combining two, often way too seriously taken and at times boring or just too overpowering and tiring styles of music one makes a real powerful and fun mashup DJ set. I'm not familiar with the years or exact genres or styles of these tracks (as I really don't care about such purism), but my analysis is that he makes his own hardtrance out of two different styles. And that is something I really respect. As there is a ton to do and a massive need for talent and timing, criticizing feels a bit unfair. But what I would like to hear is a bit less aggressive fader use and a bit more EQ to optimize the mix. But that's just me. Never satisfied.
